I also just bought this same TG01-2003w off of someone on the Facebook Marketplace for $300. I installed my old ssd from my previous computer into it with no issues. Computer works pretty flawlessly. I do think I’m going to upgrade the ram to add another 8gb ddr4 3200 stick.
also think abt changing the hard drive, 250 just is not enough i recommend atleast 350+

if you cant take out the power supply to upgrade what you have to do is rig a old basic psu to run independently and run the new gpu off of that. yea it might look a little crazy but it makes use of old or weak psu's some have just laying around.
You’re able to take out the power supply, only thing I’m seeing that isn’t upgradable is motherboard.

I just got this very computer new the other day and so far I like it. It did included a small pack of screws in the box with it. I wanted to see what it looked like inside. Mine also came with Windows 11 Home already installed. I also wanted to find out how much memory it had and can take and how much upgrading could be done.
Hey It has 8gb of ram in it. and it can take 32 gb of ram. I recommend getting the same ram so it can dual channel.

I did upgrade the RAM to 32GB and it works great. I just need to upgrade the storage now.

I have this exact pc model. Was wondering, how many watts is the psu rated for? Was thinking of putting an rtx 4060 or an rx 6600xt.

Are these able to be rehoused in another base? There only seems to be one side that has the airflow and fan.
No you cant move it to another computer case. since its HP size Motherboard.
Do you know how to add an external power button to this pc? Is there a normal f panel with pins to plug the button into?

Sorry about that. I was away. It should work. Back up files you want since your replacing the old drive.
just download an windows you would like to install on to an USB. then change out the old m.2 and put in the new one. and plug in the USB. and install windows.
And move files back.
My friend has one of these and I guided him into getting more ram because his pc is running slow, and he bought a 32 gig kit for some reason, and turns out hes using the igpu cuz he says theres no slots 😭

Please help. I have this same PC TG01-2003w. I’m wanting to upgrade storage and also defiantly upgrade ram. Hoping I can do 16GB for ram. I’m new to PCs and learning what’s best for it. I play games such as GTA and Squad. GTA runs well but squad in huge battles will drop frames to about 20 fps on MED settings. There are the Ram I recommend. but ram only can increase the fps by like 8-16 %. so not much. Try lowering the resolution. Then later on upgrade the computer. That's what I have to do playing Apex Legends. and still its lags when there's a lot of ppl around.

Depends on which brand 2060 you get. But it should fit. The best would be just ram. Another 8 gb. To run dual channel. Which would give you. 8% fps. Regarding the cpu or gpu since they will limit you. It would be might as well get a new computer. Since that will always limit you. That's what I was thinking right now. Up grade to a new computer and sell this one. But ya a 2060 should help a little.

I have the tg01-2070 which came with the ryzen 7 5700g and the 6600xt, I am about to put the 500w hp psu and I scored an hp oem 3070, I have 32gb of ram in mines, with the specs I listed with the 3070 I think that’s as far as the case and psu’s that are hp proprietary can go, while it’s not the fastest in the world the 3070 ain’t no slouch

@@aman-mn5kc the 500w HP psu has one 8 pin and a 6 pin from the factory, if you want dual 8 pins you’re gonna have to use an adaptor

Hey man I want to get a pc just like this and i can get it but I would only use it for Fortnite and I would want to know how much fps I would get on low setting with performance mode if you can and if there anything I should upgrade
You would get over 150 fps depending on screen resolution. I would just get 8 more gb of ram. and little more storage like an ssd. But you can just get the computer first and test it out to see if it works for you then get the stuff later.

Yes it is. That 3770k and 1050ti is a lot older, and slower.

With the Igpu, Wiz and gmod might work. but Idk how well. I dont think sea of thieves will run well. yes website games should run.

I have everything saved on another drive. And I just format the m.2 I do this ever time I switch computer to keep the computer fast.

I would recommend getting the same one since the timing would be different. you would want the same for best speeds.
You must get 2 sticks of the same speeds. I always recommend just buying a set because if theyre different speeds sometimes your pc wont even boot. At least in my experience

Yes you can, Hp sells an rtx 3060 also . but the issue is its hp small size gpu if it will fit in the case. keep in mind the size and the power supply draw.

@@suprhero1 I took out the 2 metal brackets in on the right side, makes lots of room.
@@Flossey I'm going to have to check that out because it fits in there but when I get the door closed so I can close the case the power plug the molex connector rub the wires rub up against the breathing holes so I need to be like a quarter of an inch thinner and then I'd be able to get it in there I don't think the bracket would help the bracket will probably help getting a longer card in there but the 1660 super just needs to be like a quarter of an inch thinner

Yes mine has one. On the mother board. it should work since 5600g is an gpu on the cpu. hp covers the mother board one sometimes. I think to stoop people from using it, since its lower quality or its not working on it.

It can be but you have to find the hp one that they made. It's their style. It's not the regular one you can buy off the shelf. So idk what size that is. Also the mother board is custom by HP so it's does not have the same plugs.

@@VeryNerdyBird what I did was buy an SSD and just install it with sata cable. There should be a cable in the case. Just open it up and look for an sata cable. There are links in my comments.
