Bro thank you so much for making a detailed video on this I'm a noob and this is extremely helpful
Can you please help me on discord I cant figure my pc out. I have 3000mhz ram but how do I put it in the settings it must go on?
@@Bryan-uk9kh I dont have discord. you will have to change the memory clock and fabric clock to 1500, half the speed of 3000 mhz.
@@richyoyo9796 Hi bro, I have the same pc, could you explain to me how to remove and install the new ram strips?
I hope more people see this video, I feel like it could help so many more people, even ones who aren't in the exact same situation.
I installed 2x16 corsair vengence 3200,tried his settings, didn't work. Then I simply set boost to prescion, set mhz on ram to 1600,coupled fabric clock.Hit apply and test and presto! 3200mhz.
Thanks man, you're a life saver.
This worked . Thank You!
Thank you so much. I followed this video and my computer wouldn't boot, I had to reset my cmos. Your method worked perfectly for me. My ram is now running at full speed.
@@scarsfromknives what do you click on for boost to prescion I'm confused on that part
@@bestceesa4122 I used Ryzen Master version 2.6.2.1818. On the left side of the app, I chose "Profile 2". Up on top, I chose the tab "Precision Boost Overdrive". Under the area labeled "Memory Control", I clicked the box that said "Excluded" and changed it to "Included". "Memory Clock" and "Fabric Clock" defaulted to "1600" so I didn't have to change anything there. "Coupled Mode" defaulted to "ON" as well, so no changes there either for me. After that, I clicked "Apply and Test". My computer rebooted, Ryzen Master auto-launched and ran a test. Once the test completed, Ryzen Master said all was good. I checked my RAM speed and it was running at 3200. I hope you get yours up to speed too!
Thanks man. I just installed 2x8gb crucial Ballistix and my settings were the same and works great.
Just reposting in case no one read the comment thread:
This worked for me. [Note: this is for the same ram kit - 16GB kit Corsair DDR4 3200 mhz]
1. Precision OC, no other changes, boots ok.
2. Precision OC, fabric/memory coupled at 1600, boots ok. (3200 Mhz in task manager)
3. Precision OC, fabric/memory coupled at 1333, timings(16/18/18/auto/54/36/rest auto), boots ok (2667 Mhz in task manager)
I tried 1600 with the proper timings and it will not boot, cmos reset fixed each time. Hope this helps.

Hi, I know this tutorial is old, but it screwed up my pc.
I got the Memory settings to remain at 3200 from 2133 but when I followed your other settings like CAS Latency and all the others. i did the stress test and then the typical reboot but my PC would no longer start after those Ryzen Master setting were changed. Had to open my case and remove the memory and cmos battery. reassemble to get the pc to reboot. Luckily I was able to get back up and running. Pheeeeeew! Then I immediately went back to Ryzen Master and set thos settings back to auto. So this tutorial is not for everyone. Almost borked my pc. That said, my pc is the tg01-0023w

Then just opened the case. Removed the Cmos Battery.
But decided to remove the ram as well.
Pushed the power button 20 seconds while those were out to help expell any remaining errant charge.
Put it all back together.
Rebooted and all went well.
But I turned all setting back to auto in Ryzen Master.
But I left the Memory on 1600 per stick and applied the settings.
Then rebooted.
All good now.

Did removing the battery work? I just purchased this computer and thinking about adding more ram.
@@richyoyo9796 "cosmo" U mean CMOS?
@@hwhaht Yes sorry. hahah. Thanks.
You almost have it right just one thing this motherboard will not run anything over 2666. Hp does say it supports 3200 but will scale down to 2133 instead of 2666. So basically they are saying it will work just not at the actual memory speed. Set in coupled on and move memory and fabric clock to 1333 and in take manager it should actually say 2667 just like the factory memory amd go by what's on the side of your memory sticks and still use those timings leave voltage alone it will take what it needs. Your way will crash everytime this board will only run 2667 max and my way you will not crash and your pc will run like a whole new machine. Yes your way will say 3200 in task manager in windows to actually use the settings you have to restart and find yourself resetting cmos to get back into windows but it rejected the speed. If you set to 2666 and set all the timings to what the sticks have on them then your set. It dont matter if you have a 3200mhz stick set clock speed down. I received before 9123 and after 9785 this on my ryzen 7 3500x and same pc as you I just up grades from ryzen 5 3500. I have the erica motherboard aswell. Hp should not say it supports if it cant support at top speeds. Only way to get around this is to buy hp compatible memory. Hp has a locked bios. Just pickup some on ebay or scale your 3200 to 2666. Hp does this so they force you to buy their extremely overpriced memory. I promise this will stop alot of the head scratching with hp memory speed detection problem people are having. Its hp fault because they leave the memory upgrade spec open ended. When I first looked to my upgrade options on hp website what I was getting that it Supports PC4-25600 (DDR4-3200) and found in task manager it was 2133mhz. The memory it came with was ddr4 8gb 2666 from hp. Now I'm running ryzen 7 3700x with RTX 8gb 2060 SC Ultra and 32gb of corsair LPX set down to 2666 with 16,18,18,36 timings. Eats every game I throw at it as well as VR games set to max settings.
Holyy...
Yoooo, i just bought 16gb new ram 2666mhz but since the bios are locked they are running at 2133mhz. What can i do to overclock them then? :) please help🙃
@@oxidise3457 try doing everything he did with ryzen master but only take memory and fabric clock to 1333mhz and it will actually post 2667mhz in task manager why 2667 and not 2666 not sure but the hp memory that came with my pc actually posted in task manager at 2667mhz too before switching to faster memory to find mine was running at 2133 instead of 3200. The only one I found that worked was 2666 because board licks in at 2667 as it should because that's what it supports I have got it to 3000mhz but for some reason it will not post speed in task manager but 2667 post there weird lol. Hp just wants you to buy there over price cl20 cl22 compatible memory shit.
you can leave all the timings to automatic only adjust mem clock and fabric to same speed then restart and you should be good then you can play with timing if you like and runs some benchmarks. Just going from the 2133 it scaled me down to 2667 is a big difference on 3dmark it definitely shows. I'm just using the timings 16,18,18,36 that's on the side of my corsair vengeance LPX 3200mhz and only changing speed down to 2666mhz and leave voltage on auto.
@@oxidise3457 so you have the same pc and it still took a 2666 memory down to 2133 also. I'm glad I didn't go and buy 2666 instead of what I got to have to do be stuck doing the ryzen trick. I guess it's TRUE hp compatible memory will only work on these machines. My HP OEM ddr4 2666 memory is the only thing the bios will actually recognize and post correct speeds with out setting a bunch of stuff. Lol HP store is selling the memory we all need the plug and play stuff but they are wanting $349.00 just for one stick of 16GB 2666. Hahah 2 sticks is what a payed for pc WHAT. u can buy and install ram into the pc but overclocking the ram through the bios isnt a option and using ryzen master may not be an option either because of cpu/apu tg01 you got, so even if your ram can overclock to 3200 its going downclock because of the way the motherboards set up. it more hp wanting u to give them more money for there ram if anything.

@richyoyo9796 it worked fine at 3200mhz but one day I check and it went down to 2400 now if i try to put it to 3200mhz again it gives me the issue the pc supports 3200mhz according to hp

I just bought this yesterday and I have a question. How do I set this up to my Samsung monitor? My monitor has HDMI in, RGB in, and DC14V. What wires do I need and can you give me a step by step please? Thank you
Just plug the computer in to the monitor with the HDMI. and plug in the power cable for the monitor and computer power cable. and plug in the keyboard and mouse. and you should be able to turn it on.
I have the Tg01-2170m. I bought and installed the Oloy 3200mhz 2x16gb (MD4U163216CGDA) but my pc would power on but no display on my monitor. Putting the stock ram sticks back in displayed on the monitor again. Haven’t made any changes to the ram settings at all. I tried 1 ram stick at a time and neither worked.
Would resetting the CMOS help in this situation? Was nervous to do that incase it caused the stock ram to stop working without fixing the Oloy ram.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
You purchased no name ram. Please don’t do that in the future. Return it and get corsair or crucial.
Try one stick of oloy ram at a time. and see it that works maybe one stick is bad? this happened to me. then if both of them don't work still. you can try resetting the cmos. if you don't want to do that just. get another brand or something.
It's also making this weird noise when I trun it on this blinking thing
I got 3 beeps and black screen after applying these settings. Had to reinstall the stock ram. Are my new sticks fried now?
EDIT: they are indeed fried as they continue to give beep codes when I installed them again. CAUTION WHEN USING THESE SETTINGS!
EDIT EDIT: This completely ruined my PC somehow. It’s stuck on an infinite blue screen restart loop. Won’t even run windows or allow me to reset my pc. DONT DO THIS!!!!
Yep, I did this also. pc got messed up because of this I had to take out my cosmo battery, then that fixed it. and try a different setting

It could be bad ram. Just try switching it. Try it by it self and other alot and stuff. Or could be ram slot bad. I've had bad ram with this new tech since it's so small transistor it gets easy damaged.

sounds like ram. try 0 ram, first then 1 ram, then 2 ram, try that out first, try it the 0 ram and boot I first.
Did you fix it
Your BIOS system isn't working, thats whats happening.
1st: Try going back and install your old RAM you had before
2nd: reboot your pc then launch ryzen master.
3rd: Stop the stress test then leave ryzen master. After that delete Ryzen Master
Last: Unplug your pc then plug it back in then start it up.
Should be able to go back to normal. I just went through this and I want to make sure people could fix this issue because its pretty scarry. Hopefully this helps anyone if they are having this same issue.
