Eraserhead 2. Annie Hall 1. Star Wars And that David Lynch impression is simply the best impression I have ever heard.
Another great video man. I think in the comments of another video of yours someone said that your videos are making a history of film, and I completely agree. I took a bunch of film history classes in university and they were great but I don't think they ever really talked about as many movies with as much passion as you have. The love you have for movies is infectious bro. Thanks.
18:40 I don't know about Williams being inspired by Holst, but I encourage you to listen to Prokofiev's suite for 'The Love for Three Oranges' and then tell me who Williams was 'inspired' by.
My top ten of 1977: 10. Eraserhead 9. Close Encounters of the Third Kind 8. Suspiria 7. Annie Hall 6. The Duellists 5. A Bridge Too Far 4. House 3. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh 2. The Ascent 1. Star Wars

1977 was the first year my parents let me go to non Disney films. I was 13 and up until then my favorite films were Escape From Witch Mountain, Herbie the Love Bug and Gus (about a football playing mule with Tim Conway). So my nostalgia picks for 1977 are Close Encounters of the Third Kind The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training Smokey and the Bandit High Anxiety Star Wars Viva Knievel! My true favorite for '77 is Slapshot by George Roy Hill. The best sports movie ever.

The film *Black Hole* also from 1977. However it repeated how space horror movies were made. Alien , in the very same year was so *bizarre* it changed cosmic horror forever. Same theme but both movies were extremely different from each other.
Here’s my Top 10: 10) Pete’s Dragon 9) Slap Shot 8) The Rescuers 7) Smokey and the Bandit 6) The Duellists 5) A Bridge Too Far 4) Saturday Night Fever 3) The Spy Who Loved Me 2) Close Encounters of the Third Kind 1) Star Wars
Eraserhead (Also my second favourite film of all time) Star Wars The Hills Have Eyes Suspiria Martin Blue Sunshine Desperate Living Rolling Thunder Close Encounters of the Third Kind High Anxiety
Jessica Harper is also in the Woody Allen's films "Love and Death" and "Stardust Memories", as well as the sequel to "The Rocky Horror Show" , which is "Shock Treatment". So yes - a very underrated actress.
Here is one good comment on Woody Allen !! You seen one of his movies really feels like you seen all of his movies!! Each movie he is at the center its all about him!! How he grew up his relation with mother , father, siblings , wife , ex wife and girlfriend number 1 , 2, 3, 4 etc... and no matter how good life is he still feels miserable!! And using Steve Martin words; a poor Jewish boy who made it really big in NYC in the End married his own step-daughter!! WOW!! CHARLIE CHAPLIN BEFORE HIM DID SOMETHING VERY SIMILAR!! GOOD FOR THEM!!!!
I think the close encounters of the third kind is Spielberg's best film. I was lucky enough to see it in the theater when it was released and I was blown away. I was only ten or eleven years old but I was precocious enough to stay with the story all the way through.
top 10 Close Encounters of the Third Kind Saturday Night Fever The Pack Annie Hall The Rescuers A Bridge Too Far Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger Clans of Intrigue The Goodbye Girl Rabid
I found 1977 to be the weakest year in movies in the 70s. Eraserhead tries too hard to be funny & weird. It's just boring. Best movies of 77 for me are Slap Shot & Looking For Mr Goodbar.
Lots of pretension going on here….. eraserhead is at best a tedious rummage through images meant to cause a reaction and nothing else. Altman is overrated and 3-woman one of his worst……. I bet the same people rate de palma who is the most over -rated director ever and his best was a remake of a French movie.

Star Wars
The Hills Have Eyes
Suspiria
Martin
Blue Sunshine
Desperate Living
Rolling Thunder
Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Jabberwocky, the people that time forgot and Dot and the kangaroo are in my own top 10, I have mixed feelings about star wars.
Jessica Harper is also in the Woody Allen's films "Love and Death" and "Stardust Memories", as well as the sequel to "The Rocky Horror Show" , which is "Shock Treatment". So yes - a very underrated actress.
Good list. Varda's One Sings, the Other Doesn't (recently blu-rayed after being mostly unavailable for decades), however, is a top-tenner for me.
Great video also, when it's the next movie year 1988?
Hopefully not too long. Got a few I'm going to do before.

My top 5 are:
5 The Uncanny
4 The Car
3 Confessions From A Holiday Camp
2 The Spy Who Loved Me
1 High Anxiety (in my top 10 films)
Smokey and the Bandit. It was #2 box office behind Star Wars.
I mean I get it, compared to other birds they are quite stupid. Contrast it to how intelligent Crows and Ravens are and it is rather strange.
Star Wars: A New Hope
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
dude i fucking love these videos
I would have added The Spy Who Loved Me, Slap Shot, and Black Sunday.
How did Apocalypse Now lose money for the studio?
top 10
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Saturday Night Fever
The Pack
Annie Hall
The Rescuers
A Bridge Too Far
Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger
Clans of Intrigue
The Goodbye Girl
Rabid
What about Deep Throat 😊
I have only seen the first three Star Wars and have no desire to go beyond that. Also most disappointing follow up films High Anxiety & Jabberwocky
Must admit I find the Duelists a little dull
If you didn't have Star Wars at number one, I would have silently mocked you.
Deep Throat 😅

Well that's like, uh... your opinion, man.
Well, Lots of bad taste going on in that comment.
