AS SEEN IN THE VIDEO THIS PROVED TO BE A DECENT LOAD REGARDLESS OF THE CHOKE YOU CHOOSE TO SHOOT IT WITH!!
THE PATTERNMASTER CODE BLACK GOOSE PROVIDED A SLIGHTLY TIGHTER PATTERN WITH AN EVEN PATTERN AND WOULD BE MORE THAN ENOUGH TO GET THE JOB DONE!!
THE PATTERNMASTER CODE BLACK DUCK PROVIDED A TIGHT AND EVEN PATTERN AS WELL AND I ACTUALLY LIKE THE PATTERN IT THREW OVER THE CODE BLACK GOOSE REGARDING WHAT I LOOK FOR IN A DUCK PATTERN
WITH EITHER OF THESE LOAD/GUN/CHOKE SETUP I WOULD FEEL COMFORTABLE OUT TO 40 & MAYBE A COUPLE YARDS PAST!!

Great video thanks. I bought the code black goose choke not knowing it was made for 3 1/2 shells only. My Beretta only shoots up to 3 inch shells. This gave me great confidence that my pattern out of the goose choke will still be good with 3 inch shells. Thank u very much and keep up the great content. You have a new subscriber.

Hey guys, please save you patterns and have a vid showing each gun/choke combo to compare the same size shot in different brands of shells at the same range. One vid for BB's, 2, 3 & 4's. A series for steel loads, one for bismuth, then a comparison of both. Seeing an apples to apples comparison would be eye opening, especially if you could see all the test patterns say for #2 steel out of each combo at the same time.

Well we didn’t keep many of the waterfowl patterns, honestly even if we did the only way to compare throughout would be if we shot them at the same time since the weather conditions can change a pattern slightly so to have a real comparison we’d have to shoot them all together
we shot a mix of shot sizes between different brands although we can see what we can do with what we have in stock, finding waterfowl ammo right now is a bit tricky plus we’re starting to switch gears towards the turkey pattern series buying what we can for that series
We can see what we can do but it will be a vid we do down the road

That pattern master isn't designed to shoot any shell with a flight control wad.
This is the new flight control wad and can be used in all chokes as it says on the box in the video, I’m fully aware of what can & can’t be shot through any patternmaster choke

I doubt doubt it one bit! They performed good, the black cloud #4’s & Speed Shok #4’s have won me over this far into testing, we shall see what happens
Myself & hawk have a ton of patternmasters to test with different loads and compare between plus moose has the kicks, dicky has the carlsons so this will be one in depth series for both duck & goose!

Patternmaster chokes says not recommended for shells that shoot faster then 1550fps
Yessir that I am aware of I staff for patternmaster, the only reason why is over 1550 FPS the load doesn’t allow the stud rings to act how they are designed and in my opinion steel seems to pattern the best around 1450 FPS

We haven’t shot any buckshot but we plan to after spring!
If you take a guess, do you think buckshot would do a thight pattern from a patternmaster choke ?
I don’t like to guess, I don’t talk unless I’ve tested it, they do make a choke for buckshot though I haven’t tested it though
