There are quite a lot of free customization options for all the characters. The paid options are usually a bit more impressive, but theres still loads you can unlock just by playing the game and collecting the ingame currency.
This game uses the hardcore universe of Warhammer Fantasy, and the good part (pre Age of Sigmar). So that alone is a winning ingredient. Overall one of my most-played and all-time favorite games to this day. It's 200% worth the original $40+ and a no-brainer at a discount which go as low as $5.
Yes. Better than Darktide for a myriad of reasons. At least for NOW. Considering how Fatshark dev journey works, Darktide might reach vermintide levels of polishing during a year or two.
I would just like to say that there are a lot of cosmetics inside the the shop that use in game currency! You just get the currency through challenges and daily logins! (Straight up though you complete a lot of challenges without meaning to)
Got it on Xbox X it’s phenomenal, graphics and gameplay is amazing, voice acting and conversations are perfect and hilarious, story is great and it really never gets old
$6 on steam now better get it whoever doesnt have it played it just last night already feel like i got my money from it got into a full lobby was having a ball with those random dudes
Ps4 version currently unplayable. I shit you not I can't even get past the cutscene when you start the game. It'll crash my ps4 to the point that I cant control the whole console anymore. I can pretty much only play the tutorial.
Same here. I had just gotten into the game advanced quite a bit, did the update and after that it brigs the console every time, just like you mentioned. No help from Fatshark, money wasted and never buying anything from that studio again.

I even got it on sale for $10! This game stays in my rotation, along with Exoprimal. I do think remnant 2 is a bit difficult for my taste wish it was only $10.

Aside: It's hard to believe that the same company just released the dumpster fire* known as Darktide, which is almost the antithesis of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 coupled with the predatory practices of the worst of mobile games. * Albeit a dumpster fire with some fun gameplay (although nowhere near as fun as this).
Game is fun, that said it gives the illusion of difficulty. Bad runs usually happen because the ai director just accumulated cheap damage by making enemies wall clip or just appear directly behind you

It's a good game when it works lol. On PS4 this games shit it crashes all the time joining friends disconnects all the time. There's a lack of care by the owners the games been waiting for a dlc for one of the characters for like 6 years lol.

Warhammer vermintide 2 ultimate edition is 10$ on gamepass right now

DLC tips, just don't buy winds of magic or any cosmetic dlc, thous are opitinal, you the buy all the rest.
