අනිත් කේක් වර්ගත් එක්ක බලද්දී ලොකු ඉතිහාසයක් තියෙන කේක් එකක්. 16 වන සියවසේදී පෘතුගීසීන් විසින් ලංකාවට අරන් ආව කියල තමා කියවෙන්නෙ , හැබැයි ඒ වුනාට ඒ ගොල්ලො අරාබි රට වලින් ගෙනාපු රෝස් එසන්ස් එක්ක අපේ කුළුබඩුත් මිශ්‍ර කරල ඒක ගොඩක් රසට හදාගත්ත කියල කියනව.
එහෙම ආපු මේ ලව් කේක් අද ලොකේ පුරාම දන්නෙ සම්ප්‍රදායක ශ්‍රී ලාංකික කේක් එකක් විදිහට. අදටත් සමහරැ විවාහ උත්සවය වලට වුනත් මාසිපෑන් ( Marzipan) අයිසින් එක උඩින් දාල මේ ලව් කේක් පිළිගන්වනව. ඒ තරමට රස වගේම , සුවඳ කේක් එකක්.

Thank you..yes you can make it without puhul dosi, you can replace it with some Cherries 🍒, or any other dried fruits. don't just use only Cashews, it won't be much tasty then..Good luck..let me know the results..😍

Ok do thick layer of Parchment layer on the bottom. and when the cake is half way cook, cover it with another thick layer of parchment papers. Cover mean just leave it on top of the cake..that will do the job.
