    I appreciate those people who respect and acknowledge the our profession of architects here in philippines tho kaunti lang nakakaappreciate. Kasi majority of public, once na naririnig nila ang salitang hire an architect, ang pumapasok agad sa utak nila is "expensive"

    Finally an elegant Filipino homes channel! Where have you been all these time Uncommon? Probably my youtube feed was overwhelmed by the two-letter channel 😂✌️ Keep it up!

    Great house. Good video. Finally something like The Local Project in Australia. The furniture, the polished concrete, the veneer walls are smoothly executed. Kudos. More power.

      Not every house from The Local Project is a nice project just so you know. The finish of this house is absolutely beautiful, and micro cement is a game changer.

    These guys never fail to deliver! The houses they do are never typical or trite, and every detail is thoughtful and with purpose. Can't wait to see the next one!

      The real work began long before we filmed. The homeowner, architect and the builder were the heroes of this story. That aside, we enjoyed making this. Thanks for watching. You’re one of us now. Fight the bad architecture menace.

    Binged on your channel. Love it. Ep 1 house was mind blowingly good, but I can't imagine living in it. As said by the builder, this one is "for living". Well laid out, well designed, well executed. Love that the bedroom of the kids can opened up for togetherness and shut when more me-time is needed.

    Wanted Magis to build my house. They were still starting out, but I could tell they were different from the getgo. They started their presentation with a house they could’ve done better. Their truthfulness was refreshing. Of course, the presentation went on to show how they got better.
    Passionate guys. Unfortunately, they were booked before I could hire them (I had a painful four years with my contractor!!!).
    It’s not surprising to see them here building such a grand home. Congratulations.

    • @UncommonPH
      @UncommonPH  Рік тому +6

      Oh no. Hope your house is now a home and the pain replaced with special moments. Contractors are a cunning bunch.
      Will pass this on. Though they’re surely hovering and just can’t figure out where the reply button is. In spite of passing on your house, they’re otherwise super cool. Except Paolo. I hear he vetoed a karaoke Christmas party.

      Im sure every contractor says the right things from the start. They want the business. Hell breaks loose when they get the contract. I feel for you. I was robbed/fooled/cheated by two different contractors. Contractors are crooks.

    • @UncommonPH
      @UncommonPH  Рік тому +2

      @@99.5RT We know a few reputable ones. From our understanding the founders of this one (Magis Construction) were cheated by contractors and they banded together as a response to the crooks you mentioned. They talk about it in their website.
      Thanks for watching and your insights.

    Where?

  • @raymondlopez3919

    Why are Fans on the edges? Maybe because the designer does nor want to disturb the slatted ceiling? Then why do the slatted ceiling then? Why an overload of slats? Are there no other elements to use to break the monotony? Planning was mentioned as the best part of the house but little was discussed on why?…. Some of my observations only
