We’ve got that exact same one at the farm, wonder what it would take to get it running again. Seems like a little bit bigger tires would be nice, you definitely want to kill switch is in your reach if you’re upside down
Is your rear drive axle 3/4" OD? I have a kart chassis that looks very similar to yours, and I'm having a hell of a time finding a wheel/hub/sprocket combo that fits the 4-1/2" length of the axle. Where did you get your drive assembly and what are the specs?
I do like the Slomo shots, of course I noticed it look like there was a bolt missing on the centrifugal clutch that might have made that wobble not be so bad ha ha hindsight 2020
i have a one wheel drive go kart but i cant gas it without my steering going hay wire but it turns just fine would it because i have aggressive tires? like it pulls a crazy amount like almost a 180 degree amount
Probably the idle jet that is under the idle screw just pop it our spray it with carb cleaner reassemble it and it should idle fine! 4 wheeler did the same thing and I did that and it worked fine!
the steering does the same on my gokart but its a different frame it sucks that i had to switch my awesome frame to some ugly lookin frame but it works so im happy
@@IngenTechNational ok another question im having trouble on. my axle is only 4 5/16 long. could you measure yours? if so.. the hub i have is TRASH... the threads are completely gone.. so i cant bolt the sprocket or the drum break on. GPS only sells a whole assembly is the axle is 5 `1/2 long..
@@WaterSoThirsty Problaby is very low-geared or has small tires. To make a go-kart faster you can do either of these 4 things: higher engine RPM, bigger sprocket gear on the engine or clutch, smaller sprocket gear on the axle/tire, and larger tires.
Steering is SUPER sensitive at high speed on the road also the governor is still in tack.
Gas it slightly hold the wheels to the left when you let off the gas same to the right
It's the 1 wheel drive when u
That road rocket is badass
Who needs a four wheel drive when u got a one wheel drive👍
the steering being like that is actually much better as it makes your steering circle much better

OHV refers to Overhead Valve ( pretty sure)
Yeah man I know I just say it as a joke!!
That steering has adjusters on the rods , adjust until both are the same
I'll see

Yeah it is 3/4 inch, Gopowersports should have some on there website.
Hey man I just finished my go cart exactly like yours but when I go to drift or accelerate it too much it cuts off on me what do you think it is
Unplug oil sensor, bad carb, fuel, and check plug!
Over horse power variation. Lol. Haven’t heard that one before
Me podrías decir que relación corona/piñòn tiene? gracias.
Like 5:1 or so.
The ground is my clutch!
Live axle is the way to go but that still looks like fun
Yeah lol
I don't see a wheel hub. How is your engine drive your wheel? Flywheel to wheel what's there?
There is a sproket bolted to the inside of the wheel and the clutch is connected to a chain and turns the wheel
I do like the Slomo shots, of course I noticed it look like there was a bolt missing on the centrifugal clutch that might have made that wobble not be so bad ha ha hindsight 2020
Omg lol
My go kart kills everytime I turn to hard how do you disconnect those wires you were talking about
Just the one that goes to the oil sensor
For the chain not to fall cant you make it tighter?
Yeah just need move the engine up and the chain is also wore out.
If there’s only one brake on one side does it turn when u hit the brake
No not really but it only locks up one tire, which is a bit lame
I have a go cart almost exactly the same as that. How would I be able to make it 2wd?
Just buy a live axle kit for it, this one I am going to keep it 1wd because it is my first ever go-kart!
@@IngenTechNational thanks

Oh wow!
Over Horsepower Variation. Lmao.
Thats a joke btw lmao
By the way OHV means overhead valve
Yes dude I know, I said it as a joke
Mine won’t idle for long and every time I really hit the gas it stalls after I let go…. Do you know how to fix this?
Probably the idle jet that is under the idle screw just pop it our spray it with carb cleaner reassemble it and it should idle fine! 4 wheeler did the same thing and I did that and it worked fine!

Noice
thats a nice sticker on the back with that flag
hell yeah boy that god damn sticker makes me proud boy(spits chew out)
where did you get the drive wheel
Harbor Freight
@@IngenTechNational did you have to build it like the brake drum and stuff
the steering does the same on my gokart but its a different frame

Yeah lol
Wats the top speed on it
27 mph governed.
are the the 13x4 tires at HF?
Yep! $3.99 burnout fun!

Mine is only 4 1/2
Mph?
With this gearing probably 27-28mph.
How in the world did you get 20+ mph when. You didn’t even touch it you said it’s stock?
It is geared for 25-27mph with the stock governor at 3600rpm.
@@IngenTechNational how come mine still has the governor and a after market exhaust and hose 15

Smart kid
Where you get the wheels
Wheels are original except the drive wheel (4")
Harbor freight has many
U need tires dude
Yeah I know 😂
i have that same go kart
Nice!
i have that
