- How to handle situations where you meet someone who you have great chemistry with, but the only problem is that they are long distance and you can only talk via Skype video chat and not see each other very often in person. How to determine if it's worth it to pursue a long distance relationship or just try and find someone who lives near you. How to maintain attraction over long distance in-between times where you can see each other physically in person.

Did this recently with a girl who was 2000 miles away. Video chat can be really compelling. However I did not apply what the book talked about. We talked so much that it did get old. It also took up enough time that I was not taking care of some other things in my life I could be focused on. So I will just say, don't be surprised when you don't practice the fundamentals and it does not work out. Thank you coach for being a "center of sanity" so to speak. When you can't actually be together it can't really go far lol. There are plenty of girls in my area. Back to the book and fundamentals.
I'm a female, more feminine and it's nice to see a guy's perspective and how they act during different situations.

I met my girl long distance and it’s been 5 years :))) hella rough patches though can’t say it’s been easy but has helped me grow as a person. Still don’t live together as I’m 19 almost 20 but soon!

Did one ldr and will never do that again. Personally I like spontaneity and physical intimacy so it’s almost impossible for me to be satisfied in an ldr. Having to wait a month to see the person to do stuff was killing me
I'm a woman and this perfectly applies to my current situation. Btw we're in a long distance relationship. Last time we talked, he said he had tough days involving his family. I comforted him. We were sweet and flirty before we ended our conversation for the night. Then he pulled away for 2 days. I reached out the 3rd day, wanna check if he's okay. Now it's been a week, and he hasnt responded. I left a voice message today to reach out again. I'm getting worried what might have happened.. 😭

I broke up with me long distance boyfriend he said it was tough for him.I have been in NC for 2 months now,just got into the third month.He sent me a text last week to which I did not respond.I was confused,didn't want to get sucked back in so after 6 days he blocked me on whats-app.I gather he is seeing someone (moved on),I believe with his ex.Have I lost him forever?Did I have to respond or did I make the right decision not to?I am still away for a year,studying in Europe and he in Africa.But I explained to him before NC that I needed time to heal emotionally before we can be friends since it was hard on me.Do I still stand a chance or should I just cut my loses.Have I lost him?
There are plenty of dudes that can talk for hours, usually it's about themselves or their own lives, blah. I agree too much too soon, talking about dirty talk before you have a real established relationship is creepy as hell. There is NO substitute for in person interaction, if they don't want to move forward to that, be gone. Video "dates" are just a poor substitute for in person relating. Playing the cat and mouse game is nothing more than game playing, not for adults who know what they want and are available for a committed relationship. You are teaching men to be players, ugh!

I've been in a long distance relationship for 2 months we talked on the phone and texted we've tried video chatting via Google Hangouts but apparently something was wrong with her phone shame on samsung for the camera problems on the galaxy s5 she going to get a new phone soon and I'm hoping we get a chance to video chat she seems to be the woman of my dreams and I do hope this works out we are planning at some point each other physically this year

Thanks coach! I've read you book in 2 days and your example has inspired me to stay in my ''center'',after my decision of breaking up with a girl how lives in another country and wich I could only see once or maybe twice a year, just for a few days.
I realissed that long distance romance allways fail to become relationships if its not possible to reduce that distance sooner. The time and emotions you may invest in someone that is far away does not garantee you "love". You can find yourself still alone after a long time of illusions.

So true. I had chatted with him on video Skype and talking in the phone for long periods of time and after a while, I did the talking because he was silent. We saw each other once in 3 years. He is a musician and an actor. I even moved closer to him, thinking we will see each other more but that was not the case. I was the man in the relationship and he was the woman. I did all the moves first (which I don't like). I do still love him and he still loves me but that is not enough. I need him to be touchable and in person. I stopped texting and calling him for a few months and he still did nothing. So I sent him an email saying that this is not easy for me to do but i had to let him go. I still love you but i have to do this. So now i am doing the No contact rule but i know deep down he will not do the chasing. He always expects me to do it first. Was I right ? Or wrong?
