The underbody cameras are available on the Desert Boss edition. Finally got my ZR2 almost a month ago, same color, and absolutely love it. I did get the black-out badges and tonneau cover for it. Just the feel of driving it is fantastic. The biggest nit-pick I have is that the fuel door doesn't lock.
Beautiful blue color. One handsome truck. I am just about ready to trade in my old work truck and want something I can take hunting and tow my small fishing boat. 4X4 is a must. I will be giving this truck a close look and test drive at my local dealership. Thanks for a great review!
I think you covered it all, I would add the blackened center of the hood it looks cool. I’m not crazy about the fuel economy @ 16 mpg but I guess with the extra Weight of the skid plates and the larger tires that’s what you get. I had a 2014 GMC sierra crew cab 4 x4 and it looks a lot like it did.
Anyone know why rust destroyed the frame and cross member on my 2013 silverado and what my option are? 2 body shops states truck is unsafe to drive and said to far gone to repair
I really like the Colorado ZR2, but the yellow stitching on the seats and interior is a deal breaker for me. This would be a better truck with the 6.2 V8 as an option. I don’t love the exhaust sound of the new 2.7 engine. There’s a lot to like, but give me a 6.2 V8 with more HP and torque and I would purchase. Plus, lose the yellow stitching on the interior.
number 1 dumbest junk feature i hate on my zr2 the winshild wiper switch is a pain in the ass ya gotta put thumb on the front the a finger on backside to catch the nipple sticking out the back to turn the switch its junk that and having to touch the touch screen each time to turn the driving fog lights on everytime even when your lights are set on auto oh and ya get the front assisted steps but if ya want the back assisted steps thats an extra 450 bucks come on rip off its nice but not 53500 nice but i was dumb enough to buy one lol id never buy one without tech package
@4961Studebaker mine are still going strong after 6 years and over 100k. I open the hood weekly to check fluids and clean. If they needed replacing today, I would still say they're worth the money to replace for convenience alone. Power window motors wear out and aren't cheap either....should it have crank windows too? Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
I think the previous model is better only because of the v6 and diesel Option that is why I would rather have the previous ZR2 wish the back seat was bigger I also don’t like all the digital dash stuff just more to go wrong that truck is missing the winch
GM made a stupid and huge mistake by not offer a a diesel engine in the Colorado or Canyon in 2024. These trucks are now just fuel guzzlers. I and several other will not be interested in these vehicles until they pull their heads out.
Absolutely love my 2023 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. Bought it in September and have 6K miles. Every time I get out of it I can't wait to drive it again
I've had my Chevy Colorado ZR2 for 4 days and already I am getting 20 mpg so not too bad
Truck is so much better than the last model. Really looking forward to seeing the ZR2 Bison in action as well. Great video!
Love the new Colorados, the ZR2 trim is my absolute favorite, I cannot wait to get one of my own!

I think there are several fuel caps that will lock on your ZR2.
@user-vs7ec1wz5d I'll have to look. The ZR2 is capless, so don't know if they make something for that.
Great vid!!!

Thanks for posting. Always appreciated!

Arjc video's by owners are showing much better hwy mileage than stated. I've seen one where on part of long trip got over 26mpg
Ordered my 2024 in November. Got the sane Blue Glaciar Metallic color. Can't wait until it comes in. Looking like it may be 6 to 8 month wait though.
Great video as usual. Going to buy one next year.
I'm FINALLY picking up my loaded blue ZR2 tomorrow. Too bad the weather sucks too bad here to open the sunroof.
I love your hat. I love that place.
Question, how does this do in the snow as a daily driver? This looks amazing
I have not had the opportunity in the snow, yet. But will report back once I do!
thats an awesome truck
Good looking truck
how can u turn auto turn off, off ? i hate it, it turns on every time u turn ur truck on
Anyone know why rust destroyed the frame and cross member on my 2013 silverado and what my option are? 2 body shops states truck is unsafe to drive and said to far gone to repair
I picked up the hood struts , not a huge deal
Yeah mine did not come with sunroof or 360 cameras
Truck is high I am 5’11 and I have to jump in and out. Side blister on seat is gonna get destroyed
My fuel mileage is approx 10mpg on my zr2 window sticker says 16. I haven’t seen that yet for a 4cyl.
You're just accelerating wayyyy too hard and spooling up the turbo all day

Would a 6.2 even fit (I think the 5.3 would’ve been perfect for this, if either those would fit)?

I see your point about hydraulic hood struts. But these wear out and are not cheap. Hood prop. Life long part
check this out aftermarket Redline Tuning 2023+ Chevy Colorado & GMC Canyon Hood QuickLIFT PLUS $100.00
They're like $35 for a pair and are simple to replace
@@shiftmotorsports9803 true and wear out more often than a prop rod.

Slow down with your talking. Great review but you're giving me a headache!
No one likes their truck raked in the back. I’m working on a leveling kit.

Don't think so. Diesel has a limited market and is being phased out.
Not enough people wanted the slow diesel though. It didn’t even tow more than the V6.
This motor is better..
