I would’ve liked that too, it would be so cool just seeing them hang out, plus hear some backstory or interest from Lester as he is telling Franklin. Well I’m still glad that they are still good friends after all these years, even to the point where Franklin becomes a CEO 8 years later, they still communicate and keep in touch. Plus I like during the Big Score Heist (Obvious) when they embrace each other it’s very engaging and fun to watch.✨

I think Lester notices our hustle and helps out, considering we unlock his remove wanted level at lvl 21, meaning we don't "know" him until a little bit of hustling around, where he lends us favours.
What about Michael? Without Michael trusting Franklin to do the jewelry job Lester would've never helped Franklin, also throughout the story we can see that Michael genuinely cared about Franklin

You know, some people take their friends to trips for tax purposes. Then there's Lester, putting people in invested mansions for tax purposes. Get yourself a bud like Lester.
Well it's also an incentive for Franklin to work with Lester in the future. He saw how effective Franklin was as his assassin, so he rewarded him as a further investment for future work. That's how I looked at it. Everything Lester does has layers to it. When he assassinates, he makes sure to get stock so he comes out on top when it happens. And he also makes sure he's in a somewhat moral right for things like this, which he is. He instills this into Franklin who takes these lessons with him into the Agency. Lester taught Franklin into a good protege. Franklin is directly continuing that work. Micheal may have talked of Franklin as "the son he never had" but Lester went one step further and really succeeded.
tbf Franklin is probably the only one that wouldnt go psycho and settle down when the dust settled Trevor is Trevor and Michael is not only a traitor but also escalates the game's story just because he was bored and sad lmao Franklin rarely starts shit in the game, compared to Mike and Trevor, and moreso dragged along by association. Being fair, he also isn't against being part of bull like with Lamar or Michael but he doesn't actively look for shit to start by himself. If there's only one of the three you could keep alive, Franklin is your best bet.

It was completely unnecessary and that one action ends up exposing his secret to everyone, kickstarting the whole events of the game. Plus he clearly enjoys doing crime and heavily admits missing those days so, even if he didn't have a debt, its likely he would end up going back anyways. Plus the debt is settled after the first heist but, due to Mike's ego with needing to be a badass quoting shit, he blows his cover and brings Trevor back into his life Especially as his violent impulses come back like with having Franklin crash into the car lot or having a shootout with porn producers. He does become happier and more appreciative with his normal life as the game goes on, but Michael had his honeymoon phases before. If you are the one quickly needing to decide which of the three psychopaths to keep, Mike isn't the worst but he's still way more impulsive than Franklin.

It makes sense why the two get along so well, Franklin appreciates doing a job with a plan first, rather than Lamar who just likes to go in guns blazing and figures it out as he goes along. He finds that no one can do a detailed, intricate plan like Lester, hence why they work so well together.
Being older, Ive started to appreciate the dialogue more and more in the story and not just the cutscenes but the on the road dialogue too, it just feels so natural
