Dogs need a permit to be in the Waipakihi River Valley....assume you guys had permits for your dogs? If not, it may pay to actually follow the rules and regulations.

Over the Christmas and new year period there were over a hundred people per night following one of your routes and have craped in the bush, taken 4wds through areas destroying plant life cutting down trees to burn leaving rubbish so think before you post how the environment can handle extra people.
