The design is the same as a 'Black Hunter' (with a pretty dyed riser.)... I have the longbow and the recurve versions, the limbs are bamboo cored. the longbow version is smoother, but not by much. It is a very sweet shooter, with a centre shot and it's fast... I draw #40 to 30"/31" and get over 200 fps, string silencers help with the twang, and I'm always aware of the cock feather. Brace height closer to 8" works for me.

It's not "the same" , it's is a black hunter with different woods. A good bow by the way .

@@jme104 This bow is sold by dozens of companies, in various wood versions. They all buy from the same big factory in China just add their named tag on it.
They are quite nice beginner bows.
The arrows in these sets are normally rubbish, cheap carbon or even glassfiber arrows, and especially if you have a low drawweight mucht too heavy.

Due to your content im far more interested these days in the asiatic designs but still great to see such a good looking and performing bow, at this price point especially. Another great review !

Thank you again for another great video! This reminds me of an old vintage Ben Pearson recurve I had many years ago. It to pulled 37# and was very accurate.

🙄😁🧐 I'm not a fan of recurve recurve bows 🙈 but for the poundage and speed 👁️ I'm quite impressed 😁 and it's also very affordable 😁👏👏🙌👍

Looks like another Black Hunter knock-off to be honest. Nice shooters for the price, I just worry it's going to get to the point where there'll be a Black Hunter category in competition since there's so many of them now! As I say, a good bow for the price, but give me a custom, non-factory produced bow with real woods any day of the week!

question is, was the Black Hunter the first ever or was even that already a knock-off :D

I really like the riser colors. Typical of standard recurved is loud. I use string silencers on mine

i think it´s the same model tan the Black Hunter, they only changed the handle. The original manufacturer is Junxing Archery.

    • @tiobi6633
      @tiobi6633 7 місяців тому +1

It was very 1st impression also. The handle doesn't have that rounded arrow pass and window (which actually should be a plus - not sure why they made it flat) and those limbs look like a 'upgraded' version of MK1 model. So yeah, it looks like BH, but then again, I found the very same thing on the 'big' manufacturers sites (SAS, Buck Trail, White Feather, etc), they've just refined the BH raiser and put on some other refined limbs and selling them for like 300+ $ under they're own trade mark. So... who's copying who ;) Anyways, if it works and if its fun to shoot, I would totally go for this one, don't give a damn about trade marks, mostly those are just a bunch of shiny letters on a shiny logo :D imho

Good looking bow. Like the colors but pattern could be better. Not a bow I'd buy but looks like a decent bow for beginners.

I have a question. Many people like myself cannot afford archery classes due to cost and the lack of archery schools. Is there anything you recommend for those people where they can learn basic archery on their own?

Buy a cheap snake bow with arrow shelf on both sides, few arrows and target, watch all of armins videos on how to shoot, that is all you need.

    Hello sir,
You helped me with a question I had a while back. I got myself a lower poundage longbow and have been practicing at 5-8 yards to start. I have noticed something while doing this. I seem to be much more accurate having my bow at about a 45 degree angle in front of me and not bringing my anchor point to my cheek. Tested this several times before coming back to you just to make sure I was getting repeatable results. I was just wondering if this is some type of firing I haven’t heard of or why it seems to work. Any feedback is helpful. Thank you sir!

The promotion code had expired on day one right after you posted this video. It seems a bait and switch from the seller despite the bow is now listed as $79.99 at Amazon. The promotion code is useless.
