I'm in Collin County and tired of this crazy storm season too. Can't wait to see this one completed and the rain didn't sound nearly as bad as I imagined it would.
What is your policy on cabinet install and getting the air conditioner on? It’s always a scramble for me to get it on to mitigate moisture issues. Great video!
Thank you it’s not a concern for us at this stage. We don’t have cabinets getting wet necessarily, but I prefer a little bit of humidity anyhow because this will help the cabinets take the stain better. Dry heat is more my concern and because of our insulation it won’t get super hot, because the weather is still pretty calm. Once we get all of the staining done, the air conditioning will come pretty soon, and we will want to maintain our temperatures throughout the house. Sometimes you will have some expanding and contracting, and that becomes part of your punchlist items to address.

Very nice. I am designing something very similar with a single pitch. What are the eave heights front and back?

@@TexasBestBarndominium thanks for the reply! Huge fan and I have learned a lot from you.
Is there a way to make it a little larger and put a hallway between their master bedroom and the common bathroom to go to a back porch?
What colors of metal is this one done in?
Burnished slate
Would reverse the roof slope where the garage meets the living space. Don't know why barndos don't.
Do you guys build in Tyler texas?
We do. Check Linktree.com/TexasBestConstruction
Could do without the 4 minute intro
