to add insult to injury, just got an ad for Gordon Ramsey's Masterclass while watching this 🤣🤣🤣
for 5k have a competition between yourselves to make your most iconic dish?
ok, I like this idea...
To be fair, Uncle Roger actually likes Gordon Ramsay
You're absolutely right. Respect the classics before even thinking about doing something 'creative'. Hell, sometimes, too much creativity can fuck up a dish.
Plus, for four people, two cups of rice is sufficient. Three is better. That way, you have leftover for rice and beans (casamiento) and egg fried rice.
Basically the same as what Mark Twain said: "Get your facts straight first, then you can twist it as much as you please"
Its the same thing with being an Artist or whatever field you're in. GET the basics / fundamentals right, THEN go crazy with it.
I made Japanese curry tonight and it was just me and my dad. I used only one mug for the both of us. We do have big mugs in our house but we also didn't want leftovers as we are visiting my grandma tomorrow and are not bringing food with us.
@@eleanorcooke7136 one/two mugs are enough for two people, but for 4 people one cup is def not enough lmao
@@bruh.exe-idkwhattotype that's what I said? But yeah, 1 cup for four people is the absolute least if you're making a side dish, let alone a component of a main.
OMG, you two had me laughing so hard, what a great way to start my day with my two favorite ladies, so glad you are back.
Our pleasure!
@@simplyadanecathank you for making me laugh love ya❤
I was legit waiting for y'all to review this. This one hurt Uncle Roger's heart too much
Hope you enjoyed it!
Hi! From Thailand. Actually in Thailand, we don’t put salt when we’re making rice. For us, rice is precious. No need to put things in it.
Even in Malaysia, it would be weird I think
same in India!
same in Vietnam
same in ph
I AM ROOTING FOR THIS GUY RIGHT HERE.
I AM A PACIFIC ISLANDER, RICE IS PRECIOUS. DO NOT SALVAGE RICE INFRONT OF US. ✋
I'm latina and I don't know anyone that feeds 4 people on one cup of 🍚 rice. WOW 😲
It may work out if you're using a mug like him with two adults who like small portions and two young children. Otherwise, it's not realistic unless everyone in the family is on a strict diet lol.
Thai curry uses galangal, indian curry uses ginger, nobody uses only three small chillies to make curry. and yes, you need quite amount of cumin, peppercorn, fennel and coriander powder for your curry.
Your family must be loving it at gun point then , bruh Im dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
she's so rude.
Whenever I cook rice for my mom, brother, his gf, and myself, I always cook at least 4 cups of rice in the rice cooker. Jamie doesn't even know his portions. How in the hell did he become a famous chef?
he famous becoz of internet.. this is why he is a celebrity chef
I worked at a Chinese restaurant. 1 cup per person. I was a delivery driver and I know that. He's supposed to be a professional chef.
He put out 25 cookbooks so you know he's full of crap. Maybe if you are very great chef you invent 2 or 3 recipe in your life that are actually good.
He didn't know that 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Jordan-RamsesTo be fair, portion is one cup of cooked rice, not raw. but a mug for four people is still lowballing, a standard portion for 4 people would be 2.5-3 rice cooker cups. Which is different than normal cups, the cups that come with the rice cookers used to measure the rice are about 3/4 the volume of a standard measuring cup. So altogether you'd use 2 or 2 + 1/4 of raw rice for 4 people, rice roughly doubles in volume so that would be around 1 cup per person. This is all subjective when cooking at home though, some people eat half the standard portion and others eat double it.
So nice to see you both back! Mangetout comes from French, meaning “eat all.” It refers to the species of peas where you can eat the pods.
Snow peas?
@@tibbus That’s one of them. Sugar peas also.
you were right ,usually when i cook rice ,i have to use 2 or 3 cups for just the 3 of us in my family ,i love your channel and keep grinding
aww thank you, I'm glad you enjoy my channel.
Y’all should make fried rice when you reach 5k
I agree. Fried rice
ahahahaha, oh gosh.
Why not
@@simplyadaneca maybe 4k make a fried rice and then tag uncle roger to roast you
@@wklinthinkple4910 good idea
Jamie Oliver used more seasoning in his rice than his goddamn paste💀💀
"being a chef that mean you are creative person" I can't🤣🤣🤣
Sad we didn't get to see the end of the reaction video, but you two are awesome!
Sorry!
@@simplyadaneca There is nothing to be sorry about. Things happen. I enjoy your content and reactions, regardless.
I really like your reaction it's like you know how we asian feel about it!!!
thank you.
Im dead💀💀💀💀💀 you ladies are too funny! Keep up the great work 🤣🤣🤣
Jamie needs to get taken to the Hague and prosecuted for war crimes....
Thank you so much 😁
"random shiet with mushroom in it" new menu from jamie olive oil.
Oliver added extra green onions and cilantro to make up for the low amount of chilis in the chili paste. It could have worked out too had he first cooked the chili paste with the coconut milk and then added the other ingredients. Jamie Oliver never went to cooking school though, he just worked at his parents pub during his teen years. Go figure, that's why his food tastes like crap.
Yep, figured. He’s trying to cheat out the extra colour essentially. It would make the curry green if he cooked with coconut milk first, yep, but you know…that ain’t the Thai way…right?
@@thelegittaco974 he would have been better off using green food coloring to fill the gaps
Tamael is so tantalizingly beautiful. She's the reason to live, to wake up, to write songs, to right all wrongs. Love from India.
What a hilarious reaction, I was crying 😭😭😂😂😭😭
Just noticed Uncle Roger commented on your last video, how wonderful, nicely done.
Thank you kindly. Also, what video?
Y’all are making me laugh and you’re just like my best friends from school. 🤣
14:05 Yes, so "creative" that I can feel my soul leaving my body by how "creative" his ingredients, still you guys are underrated as hell lol you people are actually funny
aww, thank you so much
If Jamie wants to make his own version of green curry, he should at least practice/learn how to make it the traditional way before getting creative 🤦
Love the commentary. Ladies 👏👏
“ If he is rationing rice 🌾!?”
ME: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ☠️☠️☠️☠️ I dead now lol 😂
You people having see how he try to make Indosia gado gado. With olive oil , fish sauce, soya sauce.
The Jamie olive oil comment took me out sigh 😂😂😂😂And pheww ?3.35 million. I’d take even half lol
That water gag got me laughing so hard...
I mean his restaurants went out of business tbf, he didn’t have to shut them
That also
Make fried rice if you reach 5k, btw im Malaysian just like uncle roger,Malaysian fan here love your reactions
Sounds good!
I cannot eat lunch and watch your video, I laugh so hard I had to stop and clean my computer screen! LOL
Yes ..i remember i saw his kitchenware product in malaysia...
Remember McDonald’s is a super successful business and has so low quality. Quality doesn’t equal success and lack of doesn’t equal failure.
I have a theory that Jamie Oliver and the American version Rachel Ray are there so home cooks can go “hey I know I’m not that bad compared to them”
Beautiful Queens💙💙💙👑👑
there's literally more mushrooms than meat I cant XXXX
Great reaction. Jamie Olive Oil, 😅🤣😂. Jamie needs to get a refund from the cooking school and start again.
Culinary imperialism
I tell you what, you two make me laugh. Jamie Oliver is done 💀
Lesson Learned: Always trust Uncle Roger.
Jamie olive oil's Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong closed down so you know why now.....
14:06 more like 'over creative' 😅 that green curry is a crime.
You should watch a channel called Kay’s cooking she does special fried rice you women should watch it
I have door reaction to her cooking before
Hi y'all. I miss you 🤗.
Jamie really knows how to butcher Asian food.... Faint....
you should try to make egg fried rice
Ladies.it’s a tv show,there are time constraints
Things like washing chicken aren’t important in the time limits they have.we all know you wash the meat, well most of us!
Some things are prepared before hand to make it easier to fit the time they have.
Because of this video, you earn my subs.
If he's rationing rice 😂 and having Jamie make Flap Jacks or Pancakes would do nothing but provoke Americans he would probably put mushrooms or worse chili jam in them
That curry looks like shrek porridge
Flapjacks are easier, you just need four ingredients...compared to rice's two?
Loveee your vid because you also think jamie olive oil's dish is disgusting, not like other white people still say it looks good
Thank you so much.
If that is what a vegetarian or vegan eats, I just want to ask one simple question:do you hate yourself? Why punish yourself like that.....
Check out the Mexican Survival Guide series by TheCrazyGorilla.
coming on Wednesday! :)

Lmao 🤣 To cook his bland ass food with!🤣😂

I don't have the right equipment to do that.
@@simplyadaneca Do an oven version. 😅
React to the woman cook Pho pls, its disgusting
no problem coming this week.
Lmao even my little sister is better than Jamie Oliver in cooking rice.
😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jamie's so full of himself...
😂😂😂😂😂
actually You face look like gamora marvle actress I forget her name,
could the actress be Zoe Saldana? also, who's face mine or my sisters?
@@simplyadaneca the right girl,hehehe..but both you have good character so funny
😂😂😂
Jamie actually went to cooking college and learned to cook, he is not a self made cook. I know he messes up asian dishes, but I think you are being quite harsh on him.
FYI I am bigger Uncle Roger fan than a Jamie Oliver fan.
we just think that if he's going to cook a dish especially a dish he doesn't know or normally cook, he should practise to try and get it as correct as he can. He just does what ever he wants and call it "native" and that's rude. But thank you for your feedback :)
You girls are talking to much!
That's called reacted not watch along.
