I never had much of a relationship with my father left home at a young age it does my soul good to see you and your father get along well it actually work together like it supposed to be thank you
Thanks for the awesome videos. Me and my 6 yr old son are always watching them. We drove by your place this past Saturday and he loved seeing the building/milk-house and spotting some the tractors that we always watch in the videos. Thanks again.
I was taught that the hole for the tree root ball needed to be wide enough for some easy root growth with disturbed soil. Having planted trees in PA in the 15 years I lived there, I learned how hard the clay base would pack tight and resist root growth. In all the places I’ve lived, if I am planting trees or shrubs, the hole needed to be deep enough so a mixed layer of cow manure and soil would lift the plant to planting height. I wish your trees well, but if they don’t seem to be thriving, perhaps loosening soil around the root ball would help.
A new man cave! Perfect, all you vid work in one spot and you can start and stop anytime and nobody will bother it. Every boy needs his fort. You can never have too many trees. More leaves = more breaths. Good vid. Peace.
Yes! Lots of comments about tree planting. Dig hole 2x the size of the root ball. Buy tree mulch to fill around the root ball. I like to add a 4" piece of drain tile 16" long before back filling to make sure water is getting to the roots!
You have adopted more diversity in camera placements and shared some different experiences you have in your work. I enjoy your channel very much. It helps me, living in the suburbs of Los Angeles, appreciate how much work, diligence and caring go into the milk I pour on my cereal every morning.
I always dig my holes 3 (three) times the diameter of the pot and fill with a mix of manure (I suspect you may have some laying about somewhere), topsoil and just a wee tiny touch of lime, then add a bit of miracle grow once a week to the watering for the first growing season. It makes for a very healthy, happy tree.
You remind me of me i used to go to work with my father when I was five years old he has his own business and he was trying to teach me the business at an early age listen to what your dad says you’re going to be a fine young man God bless you and your family nothing but the best for you thanks again from another Pennsylvanian
Clever idea with the pipes for sliding. The cows give you job security by breaking things so you can fix them lol. You look like you are going to be a great framer. Looking forward to seeing more of your carpentry skills. Thanks for the great video.
Zacchaeus was a wee little man, a wee little man was he. He climbed up in a Sycamore tree, for the Lord he wanted to see. I loved your referencing Zacchaeus when you mentioned the Sycamore trees!

I'm a new subscriber and want to say I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! I'm a retired engineer but also have an extensive construction background. It is great - and I mean GREAT! - to see a responsible - hard working - articulate and respectful man of your age farming AND doing all the videoing (and all that entails) and keeping up with all of your farm duties and responsibilities. You deserve any and ALL of the success you ever achieve. I know your dad is proud of you but so are all of us viewers I assure you. Your work ethic is an example for any at any age. Very few have the inner makings that you have no matter the age. Thank you so much! for all you do. The Welkors better watch out LOL tho I am sure they are very happy for your success as well. Would be great if you guys could make a video together sometime. Keep on Keepin on. You are definitely among the best our country has to offer. Thank you and God Bless!
Mr.10th and Dad the 9th, A few years, You and Father will hang a great tire swing for the little 11th Generation Dairy Farmers in those trees‼️ Then later, a nice tree house for them. Yall will enjoy the shade of these trees while having family dinners/cookouts under the canopy. The Memories and Stories these trees will generate will long last many Generations to come‼️ Many Blessings and Prayers with Thanksgivings for Yall’s hard work and sharing your life through these Exceptional Videos and Edits‼️
Apparently your father and you haven't seen a Sycamore leaf when it falls from the tree in the winter it's rather large and what a mess they make I call it a Holstein tree cuz it looks like white and brown or white and beige the bark is always falling off
Zacheus would be proud to sit in those trees someday. Quick tip: Any wood coming in contact with concrete should be pressure treated to prevent rot. Your bottom plates should be pressure treated, the rest can be standard lumber.
DEEPER!!! Bury the trees deeper in the ground! I always bury trees deeper than that so that the roots have a better chance of finding moisture until they get established. And it helps to prevent them from tipping over without needing to use stakes and ropes.
Love the videos. Being a multigenerational farmer myself I'd love to know your families progression and history. It seems as all your facilities are relatively new and knowing dairying this day in age, curious and jealous. Lol best wishes
Hello, long time subscriber here, you are getting more subscribers everyday! That type of tree gets HUGE! I have one planted in late 40's and it's massive!
