Let's journey into fall/winter season to look at where that's happening, from loafers and denim to experimental jackets from Post Archive Faction. Quiet outdoors feels like a good way to describe my style that I’ve been looking for
I would like to see Solarpunk performance clothing. Futuristic style with high quality, traditional materials that are sustainable and biodegradable/infinitely recyclable like a heavy linen waxed canvas rain poncho (breathable and waterproof), leather, metal, wool, hemp, natural rubber, etc
Easily repairable also, like replacement parts for what wears out faster
Me too, I’m thinking Patagonia making Uniqlo style clothes but ethically & with hemp & Lyocell blends or something
I visited the Post Archive Faction shop in Korea. It's in a random residential street in Seoul away from all the high end brand shops. Love their stuff. If you buy in store within Korea it's a hell of a lot cheaper than you'll find it for online.
Yeah, buying outside of Korea means import fees are added to the price lol. Same reason a ton of Japanese brands are sold for less in Japan

It's not just about import fees. Korean brands are fully aware they can charge Western customers higher prices, and they do. For example, I purchased a rucksack from Anderson Bell, a Korean based brand, while in Korea, only to later discover that their website lists different prices depending on whether you're shopping from Korea or Europe. These price discrepancies exist before any taxes or customs fees, which the customer is responsible for handling.
In Korea, consumers generally prioritise Western brands as symbols of luxury, often overlooking domestic brands, even high-end ones like Post Archive Faction. To compete, Korean brands price themselves more affordably in the local market to attract buyers who might otherwise gravitate toward Western alternatives.
Interesting. I agree in that fashion or design isn't necessarily mutually exclusive with performance. It's good to see more brands incorporating both in to their designs.

The left jacket is something special! I’ve heard of PAF and seen a few videos that weren’t convincing. Great video-even if you didn’t have a garment in hand or if it were a completely different, non-technical style I’d still watch.

Seems like there’s more and more choice in the cross over sneaker department, but I just can’t get into it. It’s like the shoe doesn’t know what it wants to be. Though I’m still looking forward to one maker that can pull it off.
hate to admit it but i was quite quick to write off quiet luxury as quiet cringe... but it turns out those industry leading fashion experts might have some idea of what they are talking about because it's kinda like... it feels like all the trends are pointing toward a slightly more refined, smarter look regardless of 'genre'.
