My parents operated a restaurant in that building in the early to mid 70's. I remember that building for being the first place i heard the song "Angie" by the Rolling Stones on a jukebox that was in there.
Good video. Here in BC, it's hard to catch fires as 911 is encrypted. Look forward to more of your videos!
Nice work guys keep it up 🧑🚒🚒🇺🇸
Pull top floor ceilings early........
That's UNFORTUNATELY what happens to most buildings around there so sad. I grew up 1 block up towards the river next to boxing club
My uncle used to run that club. Ever go in ?
@@michaelaaron1769 I boxed in the youth mix for a number of years
@@CANADIAN_FIRE nice. My uncle's Bill White.
Father lived there. He's safe, thankfully, but he lost all his stuff. He couldn't afford any other place due to the rising costs of housing.
Was this an old firehouse? Looks like it had an overhead door at one time.
Kiss that house good bye after watching the first minute.
No ladder trucks?
Ok I see later on. My bad.
Always wishing to see a piercing nozzle for ladder trucks be a safe KO sad to see old buildings burn especially in attics members of the Fd keep ur helmets on
Somehow my comment got deleted anyway the fire is going through the roof already venting itself number one number two you're going to send them in for an interior attack when it's into the roof and everybody is out of the house already and have the roof collapse on them. And put them firefighters in danger safety is number one I have a friend on Windsor so before you bash them guys and girls why don't you put your application in and see what it's like because I've been in this business for 33 years you have no clue
Interior attack? ventilation? This is an occupied dwelling, right? Shameful 🤦🏼♂️
This building was occupied, yes. Everyone got out safely, and fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you see it) my dad was at my family's apartment at the time.
Could have been to unsafe to go in
