Just when you think you’ve seen it all there is a department running around with SCBA on and shorts.
summer response attire, can't get too hot on the job you know!
Why sit in the road, running your pump, and take in all that smoke?
Engineers, trying to make sure water supply is ready to go
Lots of men, lots of hoses and lots of water on the target.
I have never seen FF in shorts and SCBAs before! It's just wrong!
Ya unless they are the newbies and aren't actually going in...
Hose monkeys
Looking dumb > going to the hospital with smoke inhalation
Humping 5" will take your breath away on a normal day.
Why is it "wrong"?
Lets see you wear bunkers & turnout on 100+ degree day
@@virgilhilts3924 if you're wearing SCBAs you really need to be in full gear. I do understand the heat stress issues but wearing partial gear sends a bad message to junior personnel that it's okay to be lax in how you dress for the response. I see far too many FF not wearing PPE when they should be, and I see lots of injuries happening. I've been in fires on 110 F days, and I've worked in engine rooms in 125 F days, so I know from heat
@@virgilhilts3924 Is he going to go interior in shorts and a tee?
