The sheer confidence they have now is huge. No stage is too big for them any more. The world is about to be warned.
Some of the biggest complaints about them is the lyrics tend to be serious and deep or dark.issues. This song is more inline with what the pop culture likes. This should be a hit across the board.

This one grabbed me instantly, have heard it already 20 times since yesterday. The genres and styles they cover are so different, but they always give them the "The Warning" feel. Greatest band today.

Several months ago I saw a Dany Day blog where she said that Funk was a genre that she wanted to explore more
I was there in front of the stage at the debut of the song More and I still can't believe it, I was with my partner who didn't know the band and ended up falling in love with the band thanks to this new song and Evolve

I just saw them perform, "More", at the San Diego Warning Concert. It was very cool, it has funky groove, and cool lyrics. Danny introduced the song by saying to the audience do you want More. After playing it she said it was only the 2nd time they played it live.
It was my 1st time seeing The Warning live and it was amazing, their performance was just electrifying.
Welcome to the "The Warning MultiVerse", where they are the same, but different. They have had 3 years (since Error) to write new material, can't wait to hear "MORE" !!
They were in Nashville in Dec on a writing session. Showed up at Lzzy"s. Wonder if there were any collabs?
@@furycommando4062 They was also in LA recently for a week, for another writing session. Hard to say, as they love to keep us all on our toes, and keep that hype train rolling!
They don't let anyone know till they have in right.
Several observations regarding MORE:
1. Love the way Alé drives this song with that bass line
2. It has a very MUSE-influenced feeling to it
3. The audience will soon be screaming that spoken verse (right before the cowbell) back to them. Once we all know the lyrics, Dany will be happy to step back from the mic and let the audience take over!
4. You can NEVER have enough cowbell in a song (I have watched versions of this video over and over and can’t tell if there is an actual cowbell, or if it’s an electronic pad. Even the Immortal Neil Peart (RUSH) eventually added some electronic pads to his kit because it was getting too massive.).
5. I wonder if the whole new album will have this kind of feel to it. The ability of these ladies to keep putting out phenomenal music and keep us wanting MORE (!) cannot be overstated!
6. We have been Re-Warned!

That’s what I was just thinking, “More” has a Muse-like style with it’s beat and tone, I loved it just like every song they release !
I was hoping for something bluesier from them and got this funky bluesier rocker of a song. I absolutely love it and cannot understand how some are objecting to this gem.
The naysayers want the same sound on every album (which they’ve already blown up). These young ladies are only just beginning to explore their musical genius and I personally love it!

I remember when U2 started switching, I never liked it as much as I did up to the Joshua tree, eventually I digged one, ultraviolet and a few others. With the warning, it was not like that, at least with this song, after the 3rd time I played it, I started digging it, but the same happened to a lot of their other songs, it took me a minute to get into them. I hope they keep putting out great stuff. I love this song. I cannot say the same about that hip hop or rap or whatever you wanna
call it, choke version with those rapper guys. I love stuff like faith no more epic, evanescence bring me back to life and some Linkin park. But even some of those, I didn't even like in the beginning. 🥁🎸🎹🇲🇽🕯️💥🔥❤️🙏🌎🌍🤘😀⚠️⚠️⚠️🇺🇸
While I admit it took me a little aback at first (although in the same breath, I'll also admit to starting to do a little "chair dance" almost involuntarily) I do think it's important to remember a couple things - this isn't complete - although it's probably pretty close, or they wouldn't play it in public. Also, of course it doesn't mean the whole new album will be this way. They often change "styles" with almost every tune, even on the same album.
I suspect we'll be getting new music drops over the next several months as they finish polishing their compositions and all the attendant logistics of studio editing, video production, etc. I'm still thinking the absolute *earliest* we see a complete album release is towards the very end of the year, and probably more like Q124. They are, after all, going to be flying around the US and Europe for the next six or seven months, so final finishing work probably won't happen until late in the year.

Great reaction Chezzy!.. this is new, More is a song that mix funky rythm and rock music based in the distorsioned sound of Dani's guitar and a well done Ale's linebass...Pau's base on the drums is as always, precise and excellent. The wooden cow bell sounds very funky, the sound of the wooden cow bell gives the song a refreshing and happy sound, it is a resource very well spent!!.. The Warning is growing and growing. Love these girls!!

From their other live videos, Martirio seems to be their closing song. Their epic rock anthem the entire crowd sings along at the end as Dany ends on her solo. Simply a masterpiece. ❤🤘🎸🌹

This live performance gives me shivers every time. So electrifying. Ale's thumping bass tone, Dany singing like an angel, and Pau just going full Bonzo on the drums. Those closeups of Pau's expressions are intense. Almost looks like she's trying hard not to lose it through the song. You can tell this tune means a lot to her especially in front of the home crowd.
I absolutely love this song! Also, what everyone is calling a cowbell is an L.P. (Latin Percussion) block. Pau took a overhead selfie sitting at her drums during sound check and you can see it at the 2 o'clock position off her snare.
That ear candy is catchy AF! Some might even say . . . danceable! Not for this old man, but for Dany and Ale -- and spry younger fans. I'm very intrigued about what other pleasant surprises might be coming. 🤩🔥
I love Martirio, a solid anthem and this performance is incredible! More is such a departure so far from their previous work. So funky, yet so heavy. It's a departure but it really shows their writing muscles are getting stronger and stronger. Great, great stuff! Great reaction Cheezy!
I was watching the concert in Aguascalientes Mexico and heard the new song and it was awesome. in 2 weeks, I and my friend will be at the show in San Antonio and I know we are going to be blown away. We have seen every video posted so far, and it wasn't just Dany who was feeling it. Ale's moves, bass slides, and sultry voice and Pau hammering the block!! Pau's face...smiling the whole time. And this introduction is NOT a finished product. Yeah, they have another hit ready to explode!
I keep saying Ale is all over this one. I can actually hear her for once lol. Between those killer bass slides and amazing vocals, I consider this an Ale song in my mind. Dany is projecting the whole band of course. Anyways, the girls must be soo pumped to play a new song.

They're still just teasing us with some of the best music ever written, while always being modest and genuine.
And we all thought that they "found their sound." NOPE. They are still creating songs in the rock genre that have "The Warning" sound but are not nailed down to a particular type of rock. These ladies are still producing awesome songs that defy being pigeon holed to a unique style or type. They continue to impress with their talent. This song reminds me of that band they played with from Argentina, Eruca Sativa. I think that sound was their influence.

The are masters of the hook for sure. This song has sass and tease blended with a killer beat, incredible funky groove sprinkled with a fiery riff. Can't miss hit right here! Put it on repeat. Will it ever get old? No, you'll always be left wanting MORE. Kind of cheeky of them to call it that (tentatively the title is More as that is what appeared on a autographed setlist one of the lucky fans who was there posted on line). We have all been clamoring for "More" new songs. This had to be Pau's idea from get go. Has her sense of humor written all over it. But I'll bet the riff is something Dany wrote. And Ale's bass lines is just here having fun.
The lyrics have more of a Dany feel to me, like Amour, but I could be wrong.

A great Spunky Funk in an hard rock blend that indicates the level of sperimantation of these girls! This song will grow on us as it will take some time for our brains to accept musical progressions "outside the box".

After they signed with Lava, one of the things they did was go to Nashville for a "song writing" session. Maybe this was a style idea that came out of that.

Hey Cheezy...yeah...there is no stopping them. Their trajectory is world wide with a mission of absolute domination. Martirio...well...we know Martirio is an absolute masterpiece and the Teatro Metropolitan performance was legendary. Then they create More...as if we weren't already begging for more. There is so much going on in that song! It will be impossible to NOT have this song on rotation on streaming services and radio play. I can hear it already playing in clubs worldwide. Extended version? How about a moment when they play with Muse where the band joins them on stage for a collab? Great reaction!

Pau's drumming in Martirio reminds me so much of John Bonham of Zeppelin. This song really does flow better lyrically, than if translated to English. 1 can tell it was written to be sung specifically in Spanish. And it ROCKS! More is a whole new direction. Then too, you can't expect the gals to not hang out with The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm, as well as Muse, and not get inspired. Can't wait for the studio version!!!!! Coming SOON ;)

Hey Cheezy, I agree about the verses in More having a very funky and electronic sound with just the bass, drums and reverb I guess. Love Ale's bassline during those verses and Pau's use of the cowbell made me feel like Bruce Dickinson from the classic SNL skit lol. I agree with Strongdad that the instrumental part in the chorus sounds similar to the song Earthquake by Family Force 5 and you can definitely hear the influence of Dany's favorite guitar riff from Supermassive Black Hole by Muse. I hear so many influences, but I also hear ideas from The Warning's QOTMS album and the ERROR album in this.

Wow, without any warning they released it.
Now every time I hear this song, which is another piece of genius, I always get goosebumps when Dany starts on her first riff.
And, as is customary with TW, you like their songs a lot from the first time you listen to them,
but even so, when you listen to them again they get into your "vibe",
in your head, in your nerves, and they invade you deeper and deeper until it seems that the beat of the song is the rhythm of your heart (yes, I wrote it right).
And all this can only result in the great joy from TW's art always produces in you.

I didn't notice the backing vocals during the bridge until you pointed it out. I was too focused on the cow bell/block. (Not sure which it is but I think it's a block.) Now, I'm hooked.

Cheezy you didn"t notice the blue guitar that Dany is using during MORE? This red PRS custom 24-08 is her main gig machine. It har a custom headstock design and her name is on the truss rod cover. In all i think she has 4, orange flame, red flame, blue flame and black.

Really. Never seen that one except her Gibson Explorer from Lzzy or the natural finish on the Spearfish.
Great reaction to their new song, Cheesy! I don't think that's a cow bell that Pau is using. There's a fan cam video that shows Pau's kit when she's playing that new sound. It looks like it's a modern derivative of a wood block/drum block. It also doesn't have the metallic "thunk" sound of a cow bell.
yup precisely, it's a jam block , it's a latin percussion , used to be made of wood and pau's using the modern plastic version, more durable for hard hitting pau , the sound it make is more like "tok tok tok" than the cowbell "thunk" sound

It is very emotional to see Pau and her sisters enjoying her presentation so much,
she infects us with her energy and feelings that she cannot contain.
Dany's solos are beautiful, her voice is the best,
I got goosebumps when her voice tore at the end,
and her connection with the crowd is almost automatic.
Ale... She's great, perfect in her executions and spoiled by people no matter what she does.
I think so, that for some video shots they used the collaboration of some fans.
The final result is fabulous.

Begin listening to Plush and get yourself prepared for this once-in-a-lifetime show. Plush is also a very good and capable band that is going to completely WOW you. Don't be late for this show. The Warning will really need to be on their top game for this entire tour to be able to follow Plush on the stage every night. The only example I can think of is Aerosmith opening for Led Zeppelin. It’s ironic you picked these 2 songs. Martirio was debuted live at a show as well prior to the EP/album release.
It was slightly different from what ended up being recorded and I suspect More may still be played with “more” prior to reaching its final form.
IMO, it needs a little “more” to go from a very good song to a great song because it has the potential to be amazing.
Certainly not being critical. If this is the final form I’ll enjoy it just like everything else they’ve done.

You've been a long time fan, longer than I, but I cannot believe that you don't care for this new song. The gals have been exploring new music their entire career. You know that. Each album has been an exploration, and different from 1 another. Right? I guess my q to you is what are you expecting of the band? What do you want? Let's just see where TW takes us as fans. Songs like this drove me out of listening to rock music 30 years ago. I am not going anywhere when it comes to TW, but this is not the first song of theirs I have not liked.
