This is a rock anthem. Pau’s drum fills were amazing, Ale’s bass runs were world class & Dany’s vocals were out of this world. Loved her guitar solos especially in the outro. When Dany belts it out right at the end, chills everywhere. These 3 lionesses are destined for greatness :)

O2, I dig what you're saying. From these three sisters, to Melody (Liliac) to Tatiana (Jinjer), to Crypta, Lizzy Hale and so many others.... Women are really saving the spirit of metal and also the spirit of what we (I'm 66 y.o.) used to simply call "hard rock."
@@davidburlington3659 SO true - when Metal first appeared on the music scene and I was still young, we didn't call it Metal, we called it Hard Rock.
Eventually, there was a clear distinction between Rock and Metal.
Now there are so many genres of Metal it's hard to keep track of them all but one thing is true, Symphonic Metal has blurred the lines again... "(I'm 69 BTW)
This one is very special for me, mostly because it is in Spanish, I have seen the English lyric, but to me, I don't think it would have the same impact. Pau battling the drum into submission, Ale teaching the bass how to be heard, and Dany's ability to blend her voice with the music itself, now that's talent. Only 11 days for some more new songs, I'm there. Thanks HxC
The song is an invitation to break the chains that you put on yourself, it is a song to the liberation of all the thoughts that you impose on yourself and limit you, it is a goodbye to your life of martyrdom (not to your literal life). .. you are not a martyr because life wanted it that way, it is you and only you who can change that situation and save yourself.
Now, the video can have many interpretations, women in white are being martyred for their alter ego or their negative side (thoughts, ideas) represented by women in black.
the house with torn sheets can represent his soul or his own being damaged by the women in black again, in one scene it seems that the women in black surround or tie the women in white.
It is obvious that the video is very cinematic and there are many hidden messages.

Even as a non Spanish speaker I love this exact version. If this was English from the inception the English words would be different then the English translation of these Spanish words

Few reactors went after the lyrics in English before reacting. Because this song is not new. I think it's 2019. So post QOTMS. Danny said there were many versions before settling on this one. It has the DNA of The Warning and the lyrics are heavy. One of the great things about them is this, lyrics with depth. As I speak Portuguese, it's favorable. Finally, the music is really good and it will be even better live. Good week to everyone.

Nice! Shot in the desolate rugged mountainous terrain north of Monterrey, Mexico. This song was previewed during their Argentina tour in 2019. It became harder under the guidance of their producer David Bendeth. Great solos!
So months in the studio and a long 19 hours in the desert and Wow. They just keep “bringing the heat.” The structure of the song, the intense lyrics and the performance are great! This song took a long time to grow on me. I thought it was just ok the first time I heard it a couple years ago. After going through an evolution or three, and some great studio production, it feels as epic as it was trying to be in its earliest form. This is my opinion. Honestly, even the first few times I heard the studio version I was still on the fence. Then something just clicked, and now I really love it. I feel like my journey with this song is almost as long and eventful as The Warning's journey was to create it.
I am Mexican and obviously I speak Spanish, the first time I heard Martirio about a year ago I did not like it, when I heard this song a couple of days ago, I felt that the song improved a lot, but even so I did not finish liking it, I knew that there was epic moments and many interesting things, like the fifth time I listened to it, I brought out a tear, I did not know why, but it has an emotional part printed in the song and I think that in a stadium it can be a really great experience with the public singing that last part.

Every time Highly Combustible reacts to The Warning, I gotta watch it! I had heard that there was another Spanish Warning song floating around out there from back in the day, but I didn't know what it was called so I couldn't search for it. When this one dropped, I did not know that this is the one that was actually written a couple of years ago. Then I found out they actually performed it before they ever recorded it for release down in Argentina. I like this song! This song kinda gives me the San Diego sound, dessert rock, akin to The Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac, 70's - 80's vibe. Together with the music video, I feel like this could have been featured in a cartel scene in Breaking Bad had it come out a decade sooner! It's a fantastic number!

This song is from 2019 Pau said they started working on the song before they went on their tour in Argentina and they had a lot of Versions of this song, Dany said Like 50 Versions, they sang it when they were in Argentina and there are live videos on UA-cam of them singing this song in Argentina.
I get chills every time I hear this one. With every new song I become more convinced that these young ladies WILL one day be recognized as not just one of, but THE GREATEST Power Trio of all time, eclipsing even the greatest power trios to date in Rush, Cream, The Police, Muse, Jimi Hendrix, Grand Funk Railroad. Simply put these young ladies souls are timeless and have eons of wisdom to draw upon and will absolutely dominate the music world for as long as they chose to do so. Mark my words, they WILL sell out any venue they chose to play, including major arenas and stadiums and they WILL be invited to headline the largest major music festivals the world has to offer, playing in front of millions!

I don’t understand a damned word of this song and what’s funny is I don’t care. This music transcends language. They kick ass in any language.
I think it's great that it's in Spanish, it adds a beautiful lyrical quality. I've seen the English lyrics, but I think they're intentionally cryptic; sometimes artists leave songs open to interpretation. It can be a mark of world class songwriting. It's of course beautifully performed, with I think a European Spanish influence. Great reaction Highly!
