You should avoid getting these silicones greasy by washing your hands and wiping the ears of grease before touching the silicone and glasses. If by any chance you avoided my suggestion and you have grease on your glasses, take off the silicone and wash silicone in soapy water and wipe the area of where the silicone has been placed with also soapy water.
