Once again thank you for sharing your journey. I just moved into my half done one and its challenging but when I saw that I saved 30 gran this month that can go a far way for me right now. I honestly draw courage from other peoples experiences yo remind my self that I can do it one step at a time. Big up yourself ❤

girl I feel you, years ago things wasn't working out with my husband and I so I decided to move out. Girl, I started to build while living with him, things gotten so bad, me just boarded up the windows and moved in, and guess what, it was only one room 😂😂😂, you no want see me and three kids in a the half done one room. I'm so proud of you hun

What was the requirements from NHT to make it livable?
Window, door, roof and toilet that flushes. Not sure if there is anything else but know of those for sure

Hi. You can look up School of Physical Therapy UWI mona. It should have all the details on what is needed in terms of the subjects. Definitely u need CXC and CAPE as well as do some voluntary hours at a physio practice (I know some has to be in a public settings). Can't remember the amt so definitely go online and check all the info should be there.

When you start building on land how did they calculated your mortgage? Meaning each time they gave you extra funds the mortgage payment would go up?
No. A specific amount is approved for construction before you start to build. So the mortgage is already set. You just don't get all of it at once. You are given in stages to ensure the process is completed. Once you have finished building then you start paying a few months after

How long after nht purchase the land did they start collect morgage?
I think it started immediately. Once the process went through. If memory serves me correct. The construction mortgage though doesn't start immediately. That takes a few months

No. Got my own plan drawn up

@@yanzy5607 the price is based on the square footage. So the bigger the house the more money you pay. So will all depend on what you ultimately want

3 mil for the roof alone... dang..

I agree with you actually. Not everything is for social media consumption. However, each person has to also decide what they are comfortable with sharing. Believe it or not I am a private person so I choose what to share and if I can encourage ppl with my story I will. I am not ashamed of any part of it. And more people than you think are going thru and will go thru similar experiences. It is merely to encourage. So if if didn't do that for you. That's fine. Not your story to relate 2.
