The fixtures cost a lot, I am on my last leg of my project
1) tiling the floor
2) tiling the kitchen countertop and fixtures
3) painting
4) back veranda tiling
5) front veranda and front facia tiling
6) front wall, side walls and front gate
Wow. Congrats. Tiling is one of those things that is costly. Didn't find out until I had to do it. It all adds up. Hope you get done soon

To me, the NHT seems more and more to be a hindrance rather than a help. Profit is definitely the name of their game!

I use to pause the construction for two weeks when nht money done and wait on the disbursement cause the work man dem cannt wait.
Ok. Nice tip. Did that slow you down though in terms of completion time?
@@Goldilocspunky yea it took little over a year... but to be honest it was during all the lack down so that too contributed to delays

Would you recommend the contractor that you used?
Ahm this is tricky question for me. He did a great job and worked within my budget really well but there were some issues as I mentioned. I would rather not recommend just in case you have any problems

Yeah man, the fixtures part of building is always the most expensive (in my opinion at least). I enjoyed your video. Di part wid di buying rum an ting did mek mi laugh lol, is a cultural ting definitely. Me did buy land 5 years ago an if a ONE ADVICE mi have fi people is PREPARE FOR DI RED TAPE WID BANKS.
ONE PIECA STRESS dem did give mi (tbf, I didn't actually pla on buying land so soon but an opportunity came up and since I already had some cash saved up I decided to try so I was unprepared). Also, Shop around for different lenders, HOLD NO LOYALTY.
