Building a Record Player Cabinet

- I have been thinking about building a record player cabinet for years now but I never had a good idea for the design. This week it finally came to me. This is the perfect combination of Storage, Flip Through Display, Functionality and Design!
This is one of my favorite builds ever-I hope you like it just as much!

The clamping jig for the segmented curve is brilliant. I have to remember that trick. And Rilo Kiley always deserves to be up front. 👍
I love that flip through design. Brought back memories of flipping through countless records at a record store. I always happen upon records in the store that I didn't know I wanted until I flipped to it in the store. How awesome it is that you now have that feeling at home.

That is a beautiful piece of furniture and so practical. For most of this build I had no idea what you were doing. I love how you do reveals as you go along, like the curved end pieces, then the template to cut the curve panels, and the hidden JBL's at the end. Very clever.
Right on, your video popped up in my feed today. As A carpenter, musician and person who grew up with records I really like this piece you built. Cool shop and tools. I really like your use of tape. The way you made that template was genius. This old fart learned a couple things from you. I subbed and I'm looking forward to checking out your channel.

hi laura , well...this is the most coolest built set up you have created n can tell that you really value your pride n joy for your collection of l.p s records as i do as well. i have my set up in my shop lol dont worry they are well takin care of from ...dust n others ...again well done n love it
Love this build. I like the small speakers hidden in the bottoms while you have records at the top. Throws people for a loop when they hear the music, but see the records. Nice work!

Eine sehr schöne ohne Schrauben Arbeit. Gut finde ich auch das du zeigst wie du Schablonen und andere Hilfskonstruktionen genutzt hast. Aber das du noch einen Schallplattenspieler hast ist schon eine Seltenheit. ;)
