@@ridemfast7625 The Gas gas needed nothing. The Honda needed an ECU. The weight of the Honda just made it suck off road. The street handling of the Honda was excellent. I run GPR stabilizers on my race bikes but the GAS Gas Dual Sport has not required one. My last Husky shook at 70 MPH. The Gas Gas is smooth. The upright riding position catches a lot of air but they all do. Rode from Tulsa Oklahoma to Eastern Washington state on the Gas Gas. worked great. Just my backside was worn out everyday
I am interested in this model and the Honda 24 CRF450RL. I know most people mod the Honda with an ECU and exhaust to start out because of flameouts. I was wondering if you take it off road and how it does ay the low RPM range. As some other people have said in this video you can't find anybody doing reviews. I also think you can find more aftermarket parts for the Honda. What do you think about the Honda? Thanks, and good video.
@dad2468 I would imagine you could find more parts for the honda. I've just always wanted a gasgas and since ktm bought them they are more available in the states now. I can't give you feedback on the honda though since I've never looked into one
Just discovered the GG500. Been looking at used KTM/Husq 500/501. The 2024 gg500 are heavily discounted now and may be better just buy a new bike and throw some $$$$$ at it. hahaha Do you think that a steering damping to reduce handle bar vibrations is necessary?
@@Pyramidwhale Bought a used 2020 701 and it had a xc gear mako 360 already installed. Seems to work very well. The BRP setups are cheaper but dont know which one reduces vibes better. Keep the vids coming!!
I have a 2024 and I love it. Best all around dual sport I have ever owned coming off a 2023 Honda CRF450RL just no comparison
@defconsupply3990 glad somone agrees with me
Have been looking at crf450rl. Do you think the vibrations on the gg500 are a lot more? Did you install a brp bar damper?

@ridemfast7625 yeah for sure, after an hour on the highway I can't feel my hands. Haha. I was looking into getting a dampener so good idea
