So about 160kg fueled up? That's 45kg lighter then a T7... Absolutely mad. Not sure how you managed that with the rally tower. Incredible build. This thing must be a freaking rocket. Roughly 14 Liter rear fuel tank is plenty but would be awesome to have a front tank as well since you have the space, dual purpose front tank for fuel or water storage. It would turn this build into the ultimate do it all... enduro, adventure, rally, and whatever else you might want to do with it. So sick.
Love this bike! I’m 65 too. I have a 2019 690 with this rally tower and did 4,200 miles in the summer over 23 days. Fantastic machine. So good that I bought a 701 Enduro in the UK where I live to replace my 890 Adventure. It’s light and skinny and above all FUN!

Would ya just look at it?! There was just a nationwide shortage for Pro Taper EVO's too. Took me forever to get my black windham bars! The 700 is beautiful. Also hoping KTM keeps all 3 of their brands alive. Sucks to see them hurting financially now since they have the biggest balls in the industry! 🤞 they continue to grow and stay afloat.

Hopefully Pierer don't overreact and do anything too silly. As far as possible closing of brands etc, it's all conjecture currently.

Nice!!! I have a 2016 Husky 701 and I use it for adventure riding. If you put camping gear on these bikes, you need to up the spring rate and install a Xtrig preload adjuster on the rear shock.
This bike looks great! for years I've been watching guys like Adam Riemann ride adventure offroad enduro around the world and often wondered if i went riding with them which bike would i choose? i think this would be close to it..hell i wouldn't even mind just having one in the garage to ride to work on in the small country town where I'm from 😁
I love my fe501. Probably the most fun you can have riding across town. Especially since being uncorked. However as a daily this 700 makes way more sense. The 501 is too light and gets blown around. The gearing is not good for on or off road.
