@@Pyramidwhale Bought a used 2020 701 and it had a xc gear mako 360 already installed. Seems to work very well. The BRP setups are cheaper but dont know which one reduces vibes better. Keep the vids coming!!

Have been looking at crf450rl. Do you think the vibrations on the gg500 are a lot more? Did you install a brp bar damper?

@@ridemfast7625 The Gas gas needed nothing. The Honda needed an ECU. The weight of the Honda just made it suck off road. The street handling of the Honda was excellent. I run GPR stabilizers on my race bikes but the GAS Gas Dual Sport has not required one. My last Husky shook at 70 MPH. The Gas Gas is smooth. The upright riding position catches a lot of air but they all do. Rode from Tulsa Oklahoma to Eastern Washington state on the Gas Gas. worked great. Just my backside was worn out everyday

@dad2468 I would imagine you could find more parts for the honda. I've just always wanted a gasgas and since ktm bought them they are more available in the states now. I can't give you feedback on the honda though since I've never looked into one

@@Pyramidwhale man I am really enjoying your videos. Whatever camera and lighting you are doing works great. So many videos shot with a cell phone or something that just don’t do any good. While on the subject of leak down tests. I got a v1 polini a few weeks back. Put it on my Fantic. Almost was finished tuning the 19PHBG when I started to loose my idle. Had some weird idle issues , ect. Leak tested it. Dude I found a hole in the cyclinder. This is the second casting flow in like one month. The other was a stage6 cyclinder going on a JOG scooter. Point is. You wouldn’t think to spray the fucking cylinder with carb clean. Leak down found it though. Makes you wonder how many casting flaws you have simply jetted around ( assuming leak down tests are new to you, they are me.. )

I spent hours and hours cleaning, polishing, and rebuilding it. It was covered in Spanish mud from 1993 when I got it.

@Corn-ped I love them, very little aftermarket support is the only issue. No options for aftermarket crank. Though I ran the stock crank and it was fine. And basically 0 US support for parts so everything needs to be purchased through dos or euro sites

@corywheeler7221 in the video I still have 7k engagement on springs, which is about 2k before powerband. Those were just the stiffest springs I had at my shop. I have more aggressive ones coming that will bring my stall up and help the low end takeoff 👍 I could also bring the weight down in the vario but it effects my top speed to much. I know from doing this before that the vario is very close to where I want it to be.

@Pyramidwhale nice, so the malossi hears don't effect low end takeoff alot then!

@corywheeler7221 they deffinetly do. Sorry I should have been more specific. Simply put yes, they do in a big way BUT you can adjust for that via cvt tuning
