I loved Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. We just came home two weeks ago and i will love to go back and explorer more islands of Thailand. 😍
Hello Matt, and hello Molly, I will let you on a secret. Koh Phangan reminds me of Goa. My Dad had his place in Siolim, and my Mum lived in Mapusa. But every year we spent 4 weeks in Calangute. That was a half and hour drive from my Dad's and Mum's place. Koh Phangan is like Goa. Coconut trees every where. In fact my Nanna lived on the rent of the coconut, and Mango trees. But since it was taken over by India. It is not the same any more. During the Portuguese time. The beaches were spotless. No littering, no cigarette buds etc. My last trip was in 1962. The smell of cashew was so strong then. I can still smell it today in my bar. Enjoy your days in Thailand. Cheers.

Been coming up there for over 25 years. The place Hans Changed but still is beautifull. Once had A conversation with “With”, A local Called “With”who runs Ibiza’s Bungalows” at Haad Yao beach who I know for years. Being the same age we were swapping childhood stories and hé was telling me about What Phagnan Gnan was like hen hé was young. No electricity, no tourists, no paved roads…. Just fisherman and coconutpharmers. Getting in the morning what u needed during the day. I told With I wished I could go back to those days to expirience that. Then he told me “I wish that to…” and I will never forget the pain I saw in the way he looked in the distance.. anyway… Ibiza Bungalow’s at Haad Yao beach, the place you want to visit.
Hello Matt and Molly, I will surely miss your videos, when you go back to UK. In one of your videos. You flew to Darwin. That was only a hop, step and jump to my place. You both should have dropped by for a cuppa. Haha.

We were quite rushed but it was our own fault we didn’t have enough time, plus the weather wasn’t on our side so that didn’t help!! But we tried our best to see as much as possible! Love to you guys 🥰💗

Disappointed you had such a short time in Koh Phangan and caught some dreary weather. Fabulous island and I go 3 times a year for one month each time.So many great places to see there.Hey!! You have to sit like a sardine until it’s full before they go anywhere,
And usually you’ve had a big day traveling which doesn’t help 🤣
Do a deal with a private driver and for around 600bht you can get a long way ( we were at sea flower bungalows) on the eastern side.
It’s a bit of a battle to get there ( Koh Phanang )
But once you’re there it’s magic.
