We’re going to Malaysia for about 3,5 weeks and decided to also visit koh lipe for about 5 days. This looks like a gem!😍
The sea is very beautiful, the water is clear and clean, pleasing to the eye. Come visit a lot.

The Maldives are amazing . Harriet and I went there many years for our wedding anniversary. Hope to go back again. At the time we went it wasn't terribly built up. Did you find it crowded

I've been to Koh Lipe twice - once in Jan 2017 as a day trip from Langkawi and the second time was in Feb 2018 when I was in Ao Nang for 5 nights, then Phi Phi Don for 3 nights, then Koh Lanta for 1 night, then the boat to Koh Lipe but we stopped at Koh Muk and Koh Kradan on our way to Koh Lipe. It is definitely the Maldives of Thailand and Thailand is in my top 5 favourite holiday destinations (seen around 35 to 40 countries) although I do prefer Malaysia but only just!!
And yes UK is a bit gloomy at the moment and I can't wait to go to Malaysia and Indonesia again in July

@@dabbleandtravel Not much difference by looking at your video. Actually it has been quite sunny here in the UK where I am from (East Midlands) although still a bit chilly. It'll be my 7th visit to Malaysia and 4th visit to Indonesia

I would never have expected Thailand after Buenos Aires, but if you were home in between, then of course it makes sense. I really like Koh Kood, there are nice beautiful secluded bays that are only accessible by boat and some are private. Unfortunately, Thailand is extremely overcrowded with tourists, I prefer the Philippines.
