I'm so glad they did this "2000" tour, because we lost our beloved " thunder fingers" year and a half later. " LONG LIVE THE WHO."
never forget this. my neighbors who weren't lost all got to go to this. so deserved it; they loved it and I'm so grateful everyone did this. the Who were
absolute favorites. we lost so many; so many funerals here.
Back for another View, this should Still have more VIEWS, as it is a Great WGFA, will be Back again soon this Time as it is Still a Great WGFA to this Dag !!
I believe they call that Rock and Roll.
200 was the last "sweet spot" for The 'Oo - Zak was in the band and the best drummer since Moon and Entwistle was still alive.
Wow! don't know how I missed this one for so long??!! This is a Great WGFA!! good video and good sound, but most of all Pete is on Fire!! Thanks for uploading this one!
This should have a lot more Views than this!!
Entwistle just stays in one spot plucking that bass like a boss.
The 2001 'Concert for New York' was even better. Used to be on youtube but it got taken off for some reason.
I hate it got pulled off UA-cam. Their performance of Won't Get Fooled Again at the Concert for NYC was one of the greatest rock performances of all time.
@@tomhill5594 It certainly was. You can still watch it here- www.dailymotion.com/video/xcfzjx
John Entwistle bravo
RIP! I loved John so. He was *all* the power in the who after Moonie died. The OX provided the power.
I was at the October 3 show at Madison Square Garden. Would this be it?
I remember watching this live
The Who, havin it!!! Still.
thanks for posting! great show it was
Those geezers can still kick ass.
Only thing missing is Keith on drums then they lost John Entwhistle not long after this.
Sure we won't get fooled again...
I was at this show! And my seats were basically in the same spot! Oh, the memories! THANK YOU!!!
I have a feeling that the first "We won't get fooled again", had a hell of a lot of meaning that night.
They seemed to sing it with a little extra emotion. Clearly the audience felt it too. I get a little choked up when they sing that too, and the audience reaction, realizing what this concert was all about.
Wrong tour & show there. This was 2000....
I was there!
The Who played three nights at MSG in October 2000, I made it to two of them. First time seeing this video - top job, capturing the band and audience. Well done indeed!
