Lots and lots of family stuff in this episode, way overdue lol. About time to get that all sorted out, just wish it didn't take so many dying first

Just so you understand the troubled to outraged populace is like "levels" even if your settlement is gaining PO but reached the outraged level (that is the final one before rebellion) it has to go back.So basically the game informs you by taking backwards the "levels" of populace until you reach over 0 PO

Yes if a house rebels and any of the house generals have an army it actually flips the entire army against you

Just to know you can also get other auxiliary archers like gallic hunters in Gaul and Syrian archers in Syria
And I'm pretty sure that you can get a good auxiliary horse in Macedonia but not sure

Honourable mentions are also Thracian warriors in Thrace and horse archers near the Black Sea

I’m new to the game I’m in need of good tips. I’m playing as Julia but I need tips of who to go after first? Do I go north or do I take Carthage and Syracuse. I would appreciate any tips

Maybe when you invade the Greek states, you might want to seek out an ally in Egypt or one of the barbarian tribes of the balkans. They can help fight the Greeks because I am telling you, they are super strong in the late game. In real life, Roman infantry won because they can throw their pilum and the Greek phalanx would fall apart, but in this game there are balances. The Greek infantry will murder your infantry like a hot knife through butter. You can see youtube videos of 3,000 elite spartans vs 20,000 elite roman infantry, and the Spartans win comfortably lol. Yes the romans in that charged without any strategic thought and the spartans were in a good position, but it still shows how capable the phalanx is in Rome Total War.
The Greeks have better soldiers, but the Romans have better armies. So use that to your advantage. Artillery and archers will win the day for you, only bring the most elite infantry (Triarii and Praetorians) to hold the lines while your ranged units make short work. Also make sure you outnumber the Greek armies, because holy cow their infantry gives me vietnam flashbacks.
