I hate the argument of "The child is innocent in all of this" Because that's literally not the point, the child is innocent and so is OP, OP did everything right including leaving the child, It's better for a child to be raised by one good parent then by two parents who argue and fight, and either way it's no longer OP's responsibility, the child is innocent but that doesn't mean they aren't involved, their entire existence came from the betrayal and so innocent or not, their role in things is not good
The OP's brother's actions was both disrespectful and shameless big time and he deserves to be punished for it in the long run for good measure and the OP can move from this experience and live life for himself and never look back for any reason whatsoever plus the OP's ex wife and brother should do right by their son and live with the consequences of their choices whether they like it or not.
