I have a harebrained theory that ascension via the Starstone produces an imperfect form of divinity, and it's only a matter of time before each of the Ascended bite the dust, and Norgorber knows this. He splits his personality and obscures his identity in a desperate effort to avoid Aroden's fate.
Currently playing a hobgoblin fighter with the Marshal archetype who follows Norgorber. Applying Norgorber's general principles to a military commander type has been pretty fun, especially when I've been able to craft traps and poisons or plan out attacks beforehand.
So that would be Thaumir Gix was a demigod before Norgorber ascended? Like the empyreal lords or archdevils. I mean if he had a cleric, he had to have some power.
Would you do a video about your research process or your own Pathfinder experience? Maybe as a Livestream, which will stay on your channel but won't be mixed into your lore videos; or a video that isn't posted publicly. Sure, we can speculate on what you will talk about in the future; but what do you WANT to talk about, assuming you don't move on to minor gods?
Thamir Gixx is kind of a wild card in terms of history. Relatively little is known about him. I don't know of a ton of evidence to suggest he pre-dates Norgorber, but I also don't know of a ton of evidence to the contrary either. To answer your other question, I might put out a video on my plans for the channel and my research process in the future. After Cayden Cailean, I have a bonus video to close out the Core Twenty. Then my plan is to move on to other deities. I also have a few ideas to branch out, and those videos are already in the works. But I'd like those to be a surprise.
I'm not sure how to reach out to you other than this, but since you make an effort to shout out Pathfinder Infinite so much I figured I should let you know there's a PFI creator's discord server. I can get you an invite if you're interested. Though maybe you're already on there and I just didn't know.
That's a tough one. I would play an Inquisitor of Norgorber as a hunter of those who expose secrets. These targets might be officers of the law or just do-gooder types who suss out secrets and criminals. The Norgorberite would probably use stealth, deception, and subterfuge to discover these targets. Followers of the Reaper or the Gray Master would probably then find blackmail to use against them, while followers of Blackfingers might simply poison them.

That's a cool theory. I bet that would make for some fun campaign ideas you could play with.
Norgorber is 4 halflings in a trenchcoat don't @ me
Not entirely wrong. I suspect him to be Thamir in disguise
I'm mad this video is not unlisted 😄 It'd win the flavor prize.
Thanks for sharing, it's always nice to see more Pathfinder lore channels.
I still find wild that Norgorber divine realm is under Axis

His mortal name was Norbert, it's true, my uncle works at Paizo and he told me
BS. My uncle works at Paizo too, and he told me it was Gorbert.
@@Podfinder That's his last name. He's Norbert Gorbert.
Random idea, a skin saw cultists barbarian, who is generally a really good person... until they rage.
Love that idea.
Are they the Conductor of the Poop Train?
My personal theory is that Norgorber is a goblin, gnome, and halfling in a an intelligent magic cloak, which is the aspect of secrets.
Very cool! Haven't heard that one before.
Can't believe his canon name, it's too funny

I'm not much for Discord, but I'd appreciate an invite. I'll add my channel email to the channel's about page.
Yoshikage Kira would be a perfect Norgorberite.
