- Опубліковано 7 лип 2024
- Fertilizing Pecan Trees is crucial to having healthy pecan trees. Before fertilizing, however, make sure your PH is on target. If your PH is not at good levels it won't be able to absorb the food (fertilizer). Watch Silas explain why it's so important to fertilize your trees.

Great vid this is interesting cause I want to be a farmer when I grow up
That’s awesome! So glad you are enjoying the videos. Thanks for the comments!
You are welcome
You better have a lot of money.
How do you mix your zinc spray. ie how much zinc powder in the water? Do you also apply any sort of surfactant. Thanks
Sorry but I can't help you with that as I don't own a spray rig. I apply my zinc to the soil and be patient (It takes a few seasons to get into the trees). You may want to try getting in touch with your counties extension office or a local grower.
@@BagANut thanks. Looks like you’ve got enough trees to warrant a spray rig! It’s all just a matter of money
The biggest orchard I work in right now is 10 acres and I just can’t justify it yet. Hope to get there one day though!
@@BagANut 👍 enjoy your videos.
By the way almost at 1k subs!!!!!
Yea!! Thanks for following us!

Thanks for the comment Johann! We are working on a "Fertilizer" video at the moment, helping work through the calculations of fertilizing. Will respond with the link as soon as I post it.
