Perfect. Your videos are very good. I have learned a lot. I thought replacing the burned out bulbs was going to be a big hassle, but it is a 10 min job.

Method only applies to 95-98 models. On the 88-94 models, the bulbs are inside the instrument panel and you have to open it up to get to them. This video was not helpful for me since the reason I'm here was to learn how to open it up.
Y’all should do a video on replacing the ac controller lights. In my experience those go before the instrument panel lights.

wow it’s really that easy, all this time i’ve been thinking it’s a pain to replace my fuel gauge lights
Just a heads up to anyone using this video as a guide. If you plan to change one of these bulbs you need to buy the twist lock bulb holder thing as well. Either as a preassembled (base+bulb) or a separate base and separate bulb that you put together before inserting it into the back of the cluster. If you buy just the bulbs and take your dash apart you will be disappointed to find out you cannot take the burned out bulbs out of their base.
You can take the old bulbs out and use the original sockets I don’t know we’re your getting that you can’t
@@brettjenson5621 We did that to my ride just the other week. The bulbs were not easy to get out. Replaced the bulbs but couldn't get a connection. Tried putting the old ones back in and it didn't work. Had to replace the socket itself.

A latex ruber glove makes it a lot easier to grip the bulb to remove it from the housing.
Might want to show another video with a 94 and earlier dash.
I have a question does the tach on a 1994 Chevy Silverado only have one bulb that goes to it or is it 2 because I wanted to change the color on it to make the redline part with a white led and the other rpms with a red bulb too make those red when I have them lit up

Need to show taking the bulbs out of the sockets and putting in new bulbs. I bought new LED bulbs and they did not come with the twist socket.
Doesn't work for pre 94

What bulb would be called for the speedometer portion?
We do not have the specific bulb for this repair. You should be able to get them at any local auto parts store by giving them your vehicle information. +Skull Abyss Gaming
on my 95 the bigger bulbs are PC194 and the small ones are pc74. 0'reillys has 10 for $13, cheapest i found.
