On MY 96 k1500 my battery gauge does the same thing as your's doe's the needle rock's back and fourth when the blinker is on. i thought it was some weird thing with my truck but maybe it doe's it on all gm truck's from the 90's.
Depends what the problem mine had the factory bulbs so I had to replace the little plastic bulb housing, alsa make sure you barely turn it so the the copper is connected. It’s simple hope you fixed it.
I changed mine to blue led however when I turn my cluster on and I use my turn signal lights I get hyper flash it’s kinda annoying any body know a fix do I need a resistor or something? Thanks
There's two where the whole socket and bulb has to be replaced. I believe it's the daytime running light indicator and the seat belt indicator which both are 194 bulbs. You can break the bulb from the socket itself and reuse the socket with a new bulb if you're creative.
My friend call you tell how many Red Bulbs I saw the orange color like for check engine the green ones are for turn signal and Illumination what kind of bulbs I got to buy and how each color?
We are trying to do this in my buddies 97 gmc, we cant get one side to light up properly with the leds I got off Ebay even after twisting them around, any ideas?
Hey I know you said the names of the leds you used in the video but on Amazon there's hundreds of results, could you type up the names of the leds you used and the led flasher relay?
amzn.to/2p0C4mM That was the Green LEDs, amzn.to/2X27HJn And these were the indicator lights. I did not need an LED flasher they worked great without one.
Just don't buy the cheapest ones on amazon. Look for the ones with 100 or so plus reviews and a 4+ star rating and that will usually be your safest bet. Its worth it to pay the extra $10 for a set of quality LED's that wont burn out or flicker all the time. Been down that road before
Gary Schenck I’m sure if you look on amazon for the 94 series white bulbs any will work. I would recommend using a normal halogen bulb for the check engine light honestly
@@BenCoryat that's what I need the exact name or so. I been looking it up and check engine light for 96 is what I been trying so far. So it's 94 what ?
Are you still happy with these or have any of them burned out on you? Where the sizes of the bulbs for the different parts of the dash and where can I get them? Thanks
The green ones work great. No burnouts and no flicker. The smaller white LED bulbs I used were more of the issue so I would stick to normal bulbs for those. I got all of my lights on Amazon.
Thanks for speeding through the most important part. No instructions if you twist the lights out or just pull.. Awesome
Didnt realise it was his job to tell you that
Lol... Buy the replacement bulbs first, then you'll be able to see whether they screw in or not! Then YOU can be awesome too!
Can you make a video of how to change the light switch leds mentioned at the end of the video
I like how your battery gauge was blinking with your blinker
Great job! Could you please provide links to the LED please? Thank you.

Is there a bulb for the (PRND321) ? Mine is starting to go out it glitches while I drive
What are the big bulbs for and what size are the small ones?
Nice video. Would this bulbs fit the HVAC control switch
I wanna see how you did the sign one
Really important: are they dimmable on your dash like normal incandescent bulbs are?
Federico Arango yes, they don’t go as dim but they do go dim and bright
That was my question also
@@bamabassgrabber mine too

you need a flasher designed for LED bulbs. Can get them at the auto part store.
EP29 LED Relay at Autozone
I have heard that some of the sockets you need to replace the whole thing, not just pull out the bulb. Is that true?
Ryan Christensen nope, I used the led bulbs in the video and that’s it, no socket replacing

Can you post a link for the bulbs. Are the ones for the light switch the same bulbs as the cluster?
I got a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500, would like to go blue, if you got pointers..thank you and God bless you.
Nice. Gonna have to try this.
My friend call you tell how many Red Bulbs I saw the orange color like for check engine the green ones are for turn signal and Illumination what kind of bulbs I got to buy and how each color?
All the bulbs are white that are in the instrument cluster.
Good job do they make led lights for blinker, brake service
Yes, but you have to switch to a LED flasher relay so the lights wont blink really fast
How many 194 LED bulbs do I need to replace the current halogen bulbs? Thanks
8

If one side lights up I would swap over the ones you know that work to see if its an LED issue or the gauge cluster issue.
Are they dimmable bulbs? Because you can dim them with the headlight switch
Half of my speedometer doesnt light up why is that? I spinned it 180 degree and nothing please respond bak🙏
Did you have to disconnect the battery?? I need an answer ASAP thanks
Brett Shaw not needed but it wouldn’t hurt
Good video,thanks!
Nice i just put some ice blue on my gmc sierra
Is this the same for some of the other lights on the interior
Daniel K yes, just have to find the bulb type and search for the LED type
Would this bulbs fit the HVAC control panel?
How do you convert the light switch over and what bulb size are the lights in the switch?
Andre Johnson check out my latest video that covers it.

Joe G. What happens when they burn out
@@owenfisher8279 Mine have not burnt out but if they did you would just replace them

Why wouldnt u show how to take the dash apart ? Only reason i clicked on the video.
Didn't even show how to take the old bulbs out of the plastic connector
How do you convert the side piece for headlights?
The side piece uses the same LED bulb as the colored ones, but you have to enlarge the plastic piece. If you want I can make a video of it.
@@BenCoryat pls do
Coryat Media yes pls do so since I’m trying to look for a tutorial
Ok, working on a video showing how to get it done
Coryat Media any updates on that?!
Speak loudly and less volume on must can barely hear then mui is screaming
These dimmable?
They are to a point, they have a working voltage range and when they go below that they turn off before the switch turns it off.
@@BenCoryat that's not horrible, what brand and where you find them?
