Pay attention to elevation changes. Use more club (or two) for uphill shots and take less club on downhill shots.

@@Launow20062K is the better all around game. More realistic swing mechanics and not as Arcady. The only thing this has going for it is that it has licensing for the big name courses and customization for your character

Trev, to truly get on top of the PGA series, you have to learn how to utilise the hook, slice, top and bottom when striking the ball. This will help you navigate around course obstacles and use the wind to your advantage.
You've got a great grasp of the game for the most part, a few things like elevation is throwing you off. Just think like this with golf elevation, almost like riding a bike, if the hole is downhill to you, less power, if it's uphill to you, you need more power. Sand -30/-40 yards, Rough -15/-20 yards, 1st Cut -10 yards. Your chipping is fantastic! Just friendly tips, and great video, hope you roll out a series!
This game was mine and my dad’s favourite game on the ps2 we always played with each other one after the other and even though I never played the real game because of my physical limitations that was the way he could show me one of his favourite sport!! So really glad to see you play this game!!

Try playing around with the spin on the ball with the left stick aim under the ball will get it to stop on those short greens and aiming on top on drives will help you get the roll you need on the fairway
When the green is above your head, you have to aim farther. If the green is below your feet, aim shorter. 😁👍

That Hole 14 Shot was legendary
Playing on quick will give you 4-6 holes per round and it changes which holes you play each round so you do end up playing 1 round of all 18 holes.

You have to pay attention to the height of the green. Up arrow means the green is above your feet so you'll need to hit further.. down arrow is the exact opposite.

Love the series. Maybe you pick a couple of select tournaments to play through completely. Not sure how else you’d progress!
I’m 2hrs into EA SPORTS PGA TOUR which also happens to be my first Golf game ever played & I can vividly understand how Happy Gilmore felt in that Clown Scene on the mini-golf course haha. Still I’m definitely having fun! ⛳️😂🍿

This 45 footer is 2ft down. You need to put the aiming marker to 22 ft for the right distance. Every inch you should move the aiming marker by 1 foot.

no single day full round play in career mode, They had it in Tiger woods PGA 2012 so I guess I will go back to playing that, still the best golf game with ALL things Considered.

If you're coming from 2k. Forget everything you know about that game. Especially the swing system. It's not the same.

elevation plays a big factor on all shots especially putts, if your in the sand/rough in the bottom right under the ball it tells you the percentage of power you get out of the club

Do you mind showing us your settings. When I look down range to adjust my shot it's looping around from far away and I can't figure it out how to change it.
Did you have to play the open round with scheffler at the masters? If so how do you progress past it. I have played several times and it won’t let me continue.

Maybe just play the quick rounds for 1, 2, and 3 and play the full 18 for round 4.
Golf is not ur game! So far your the only person i have heard say that your not stoked about this game. all diehard golf fans like myself are absolutely thrilled about this game. so if your not stoked than golf is not for you.
You can change it where you play quick rounds instead of all 18 holes you play 4-6 holes and sim the rest

The career mode trailer 100% showed the option the select the number of rounds per event. So I don't know why your options are limited to just quick or full.

My only gripe is with online play there is no option to watch your friends shot
The UA-cam boxing meta needs to change to the UA-cam golf meta. Need a ksi vs Joe weller rematch on the golf course
So it's basically like any other EA game the last decade, they try to refine a game but only go half way and release it to make $$$ then leave it.

look at hieght of the green, say 10ft up you will want to go farther out of the pin, if its like 10ft down you will want to shoot lower than the pin
