- Recently arrived Accucraft 'Caradoc' 0-4-0T, No.1 'Eamont', undergoing a quick test run on the Blagdon & Butcombe Light Railway.
Fitted with Radio Control, Cylinder Drain Cocks, Chuffer and Whistle, she makes a superb addition to the B&BLR Fleet.
Massive thanks to Stephen, and Matt of Barley Pit Works for the service and delivery.

Apologizes for the loud noise at the beginning, as I believe I had the burner up a bit too high.
After some more test runs and getting use to the controls, I hope to bring you more videos of 'Eamont' in action on the railway.
Hope you enjoy!
Beautiful mate. Absolutely beautiful. Always nice to see steam in a garden. Great work and thanks for sharing.
Thanks again mate! She really is indeed! Certainly can't wait to steam her up some more and get her on a rake ;)
Great little runner, brilliant for your layout, good addition to the fleet.
Thanks ever so much mate! Glad you like her :)
Wow! That's a smashing loco mate! A great addition to the fleet. Looking forward to see her pull a rake :)
Thanks Tom! She sure is indeed! Still got to get use to the controls a bit, but she runs a dream! Oh yes! Certainly can't wait for that too ;) Glad you enjoyed!
I just got my Deltang type RC starter kit. Comes with the controller and one reciever chip. Can control up to 12 locos. They do a live steam controller with all the controls for the servos and such. I got the standard one to go with the No 1 /No 3 'monster mix :))
Stunning little loco, well done
Thanks mate! Glad you like her!
Great video!
Many thanks
Superb little loco! More of a British style now!
Thanks ever so much mate! Oh yes indeed! She really does fit in very well :) Can't wait to get her on a rake!
Very beautiful little locomotive. It certainly outdoes the Mamod/MSS one.
Thanks mate. She really is a stunning bit of kit indeed :) So easy to control
Looks amazing!
Thanks ever so much mate! :)
Wow a new live steam locomotive on your G Scale Garden Railway, that is really awesome mate. I can't wait for your next update on you garden railway very soon as well as new rolling stock. I look forward to meet you and your layout at Gartell this weekend and as well seeing the railway for first time on my visit. I know I ask you this question before, but are you there on both days during the show? Because I am coming down to the railway & exhibition on Sunday instead due to family visit at my house.
Thanks mate. That reminds me, I got to do that stock update, when I find the time. Like I said, as I am an exhibitor, I will be there both days. See you there
What a nice little engine. :)
Thanks ever so much mate!
SDJR7F88 no problem. :)
Very nice railway and train
Thanks mate
another nice loco mate looks the part
Thanks ever so much mate!
It is brilliant. I am not sure we really heard the whistle or was that you blowing it at the start? This is better than cleaning the track for electrical conductivity. So now you're collecting steam locomotives? Loved it. Rob
She sure is indeed! Yeah, that was because she was still warming up when I blew it, so some water in the pipes I think ;) Oh yes, at lot less track work, but takes a bit of prep to get them steamed up, but all part of the fun ;) Hope to have a Live Steam Gala at some point with visiting engines too! Glad you enjoyed!
Certainly looks a stunner!! More conventional looking than Conrad. Really looks the part on the B&BLR.
Thanks ever so much Phil! Oh yes, just a bit ;) She really does fit in well on the railway and certainly can't wait to get her on a rake! :)
whoa! it started by itself! a great looking locomotive their callum, it definitely makes a great addition to the fleet, maybe a double header with the other live steam loco is in order ;).
Oh yes! All R/C ;) Oh yes! might have to try that! Hoping to organize a Live Steam Gala, with visiting engines at some point once I get use to her and the weathers a bit warmer ;)
great new loco for the line looks lovely. what do these locos run on? looks like the woolwich arsenal railway loco "woolwich" being restored at crossness london
Thanks ever so much mate! She really is a little stunner! She runs on Butane Gas, which is in a tank in the cab. Ohh, will have to look that loco up :) Glad you enjoy!
type royal arsenal railway - woolwich into you tube a video of the loco and project
can you please do another update soon!
Hope to get her on a train very soon. Just waiting for some drier weather ;)
Hopefully it will not be too long!
How Much It Costed to You?
Don't really want to say. Though it was a lot, but worth every penny I think
