  • An on-board view of the Blagdon & Butcombe Light Railway, showing the line from the Drivers point of view. The video shows the challenging route the Garden Railway takes, including sharp curves, narrow cuttings and of course the suspension bridge, crossing one of the ponds.
    At the helm of the train is the Live Steam Regner Konrad, a simple 1 cylinder oscillating engine. Also being a geared engine, means she can cruise along a leisurely speed, perfect for the railway.
    This video is filmed with an SJ Action Cam.
    Hope you enjoy!

      Thanks ever so much Phil! Oh yes indeed! Glad you think so! Hopefully will complete the extension this year and finally get around to adding in the new siding too. :)

    This just keep getting better and better. A cab ride behind a steam engine on your outdoor railway. And what a fine little steam engine it is. My goodness Callum, that was awesome. I am going to have Michelle watch this. She'll love it. Rob

      Thanks ever so much indeed Rob! Glad you enjoyed the trip! Certainly is very fun, especially during the cold winter months with the extra steam! Will be sure to have her feature in more running video in the future, plus hopefully a new arrival coming soon ;)

    Wow! I held my breath for a moment just before the point near the giant's feet. But the train continued straight forward and not down into the ravine. Phew! We do need cheering up vidoes like this nowadays. A great train ride.

    Wow cool mate. Its great to see the whole cur-kit on eye view camera behind your live steam locomotive. The one thing I like on your garden railway on the eye view video is the junction of the pond side siding looks more like a branch line than a siding even their no buffers.

      @SDJR7F88  7 років тому

      Thanks ever so much Joe! Glad you enjoyed the trip. Oh yes, sort of does look like a branch line! Still have yet to put a train in there yet.

    Excellent video Callum! I'm still so, so, so jealous mate 😂! Keep up the excellent work. I'm watching your videos and my old 90s VHS tapes at the same time. Going to get them transferred to DVD soon before the footage becomes two decades old. Watching the Nanny on those tapes. Those were the days. Always like to get the old tapes out and watch some good old Aussie 90s ads.
