Vital farms. We have many of those chicken farms all around us and i know all of the different families personally! In our area they are all amish. And the farms are clean, well maintained and the chickens are truely out free ranging in a pasture but have access to the laying barn for additional shelter to eat drink and lay. They also have little shelters out in the fields for the chickens to!
Such a beautiful you tube channel Lisa - I always look forward to watching your meal preps - your pantry color - blue/grey? It’s such a beautiful color…looks great with the foods, baskets and your copper pans. You make our grandmothers proud!!
Lisa, If you ever want to add any more copper to your collection. I watch a youtube channel Sean's World. Really nice guy who lives in France. He has a Etsy store with amazing antique copper items from France. He is the real deal!
I love your farmhouse! I don't live in a farmhouse or have a farm but it inspires me to decorate like you, incorporate some of your ideas to get the farmhouse look and feel. Those are my favorite eggs! I try to get them whenever I find them in stores. The baskets and glass jars add a lot of warmth to the pantry area. The fall cookies made by little hands look yummy. Tfs
I love being able to hang fabric items outside to dry or air in the sun. That chili con carne looks delicious. I often prefer some form of sausage to another form of red meat when I am using same in chili or chili con pollo. Sausage is so well-seasoned. I, too, like things to have a place and be in it or in use. I always know where my keys and eyeglasses are because I cannot bear spending time looking for them that I could be listening to music or reading a book or writing a letter - something pleasant.
Oh my goodness! I told my friend today that my pantry gets so out of hand so quickly. I am always trying to keep it organized. I have so many cookie cutters and need a place to put them. We do the same thing about hanging things on the wall too! I love your videos! They inspire me. I also really enjoy sneaking a peek at your kiddos once in a while. Can you tell I am a grandma?
Love this one! I bought a basket to make my sourdough bread….. once I get this cast of my hand…broke a bone when I fell walking outside. Can’t wait to get back to baking!
My hope is one day to live in a farmhouse on land. When you were talking about the eggs I was actually eating that brand of eggs today. I was gifted a few dozen they are very good. That pumpkin roll looks delicious. My mom has been doing sourdough she's doing pretty good at it and following much of the wisdom you share. She's actually tried some of your recipes and bring samples of it to my family. Now I need to get on board and learn how to do it. Thank you for taking us along for a moment in your day
Before I had chickens (and when they slowed laying until the new hens are ready). When I have to buy eggs these are the ones I love. I love the little newsletter lol. (I had “regular” eggs and we were a bit disappointed. ESPECIAlly how runny the whites were and the yolk. But I’m thankful none the less)
What a wonderful fall day in the kitchen! I inherited a large Tom’s Crackers 5 cents glass jar from my great grandfather’s store and that’s where I store all my cookie cutters! They’re all tin or copper and I simply love how they look! I liked it so much that I bought a similar glass jar from Walmart to display vintage Jello molds and antique kitchen gadgets. I just store them on top of my refrigerator. Fun memories of baking with my children when they were young every time I see the cookie cutters! I’m blown away by your bread making skills and the variety of flours you utilize. Smart mom!🥰
I have a huge old pickle jar that I occasionally use and always keep covered in the storage room BUT will be keeping my assortment of cookie cutters in it now - so money and pretty to see. THANKS to you and your podcast person!
I love strata for a quick meal idea. Though never had it with ground pork and sage. Usually I use a chorizo dried sausage finely diced. or a simple ham and cheese version. Sometimes when I have to go away in teh afternoon I put it in teh slow cooker, but it's a bit more soggy then when you put it in the oven.
Looks like a beautiful fall day at your farmhouse, today where I live in Nova Scotia, Canada was beautiful weather, next week we are expecting to reach 21 degrees , it's been a great fall. Your pumpkin roll looks so beautiful and tasty
Fall is my favorite season. 🌻🍁🍂 Those are the eggs we buy. I liked that you used the parchment paper to roll your pumpkin roll. I was taught to transfer it to a towel and roll it. I won't be doing that anymore! 🙂
@@kristin97425 I bought mine of Amazon. They are a pack of like thirty for $25. All different seasons. I also picked up a couple large fall ones from Michaels.
You have such amazing channel I find it so relaxing watch you cook, or organize your pantry, I find myself wanting to watch more and more videos but I have watched them all lol. So will just have to wait till the next video to come out. Your pumpkin roll looked so delicious. I have never made it with maple syrup before I am going to give that a try. Also adding sweet potatoes to chili was different going to try that recipe as well. Thanks Lisa
I'm so excited I have the Spelt AP coming from Amazon this week! I have to say you do such an awesome job of keeping all the things organized in your pantry!!!
I get so excited wen I see your videos pop up. I save them for when I have a cup of tea and can just sit and listen. You are such a calming inspiration to me.
Your videos are great on so many levels! They are visually pleasing, I always learn something, and at the same time so relaxing. You are great at homekeeping, an art that has been kind of lost. I love it, but you have brought it back in favor.
I would love to see what you are making with the spelt. I really love the flavor of spelt and that's what I use to make my sourdough bread. 100 percent whole grain, freshly ground spelt. It's so good! Thank you for the video!!
Love these kinds of videos....always a favorite with me....a day in your life is so fascinating, and interesting....never a dull moment!!... watching the kids participate really warms my heart and makes me smile....great channel and awesome content!!!...thanks for all your hard work in putting these videos out....much appreciated!!!....
You make such beautiful food. I have struggled with food issues for several years now, I had to go gluten free and pretty much cut out all sweeteners except the tiniest amount of honey or maple syrup very very occasionally. I recently started the GAPS diet and am looking forward to hopefully being able to eat sour dough again and enjoy the occasional treat without all the nasty side effects.
I enjoyed this one Lisa, your videos are satisfying to my soul somehow so thank you. I put my Christmas cookie cutters in a vintage pedestal bowl (compote) on display so that can also work :)
I love the way you make everything from sourdough. I made that sourdough pumpkin roll last week. Turned out so good I made it with einkorn flour so after I put the frosting on it broke up a bit but still tasted very delicious
Beautiful pantry! In case it’s helpful, wanted to say that we had to switch to air tight jars (like Le Parfait jars) for flours and grains because we had a bunch of glass jars with separate glass lids, like what you’re using, that let weevils get in. Once we switched to air tight jars we didn’t have an issue with weevils anymore
I use spelt flour almost exclusively for baking. (That and einkorn.). My channel has some spelt flour bread and quick bread recipes and tips. I can’t wait to see what you do with these flours!
I love that your baked goods recipes are long fermented! So many sourdough baked goods only take a little bit of discard! If you’re interested in organic white spelt flour- check out Stutzman farms in Millersburg OH, great price and high quality.
I love the idea about storing the cookie cutters! Mine always get lost by next year because they don’t have a “spot”. Can you link where you bought them from? I have 4 littles and I like how they were on the smaller side 🙂
I just bought some Vital eggs this week! I found them at a Natural Grocers Store that opened in our area this year! They are very good! I made a mushroom and cheese omelette! When my dad gave up the poultry business we had a hard time finding eggs and chickens! The eggs you buy in the store I find they are not sized correctly!
I really enjoy watching you cook and bake. You make it look so easy and you have the ability to improvise and make delicious food. You definitely could use a bigger pantry, but you keep it well stocked and organized. I was wondering since you live on a farm, do you ever get mice in the pantry or food storage areas and if so, how do you handle it.
The cost of food at grocery stores is high, we will all become farmers in the end because growing your own food and raising your own chickens is the best way to feed your family and also give your produce to others if you have an abundance.
Sorry this comment is so late after you posted this - but I was wondering - for those of us that are considering putting in a wood burning stove - but are a little fearful about what goes into it/safety, etc.... could you possibly consider doing a video about having one and what it takes to keep it clean and safe??? I know my fear comes from not being educated about it - but when I saw you had one - a little bit of that fear subsided. Many Thanks!
Those eggs are $12 a dozen at the Whole Food's in Wexford PA. Unfortunately most families will not be able to afford them. We go through 16-20 dozen a month. I know they have a non organic option at a lower cost - and I don't blame them for the prices either as we know so much of our food has gone up in price.
Your channel is such a good source of calm and inspiration while I drink my morning coffee.
I agree. I just love this channel.
I agree too. It’s so cozy and warm.....and soothing. I love watching her cook

Thank you! had never noticed that Vital Farms indicates the farm of origin on the side of the carton! so good to know, thanks for that.
I was just thinking today I should make a pumpkin roll!
Vital farms is all around where I live. Clean farm. The Amish raise them. My chickens came from these same farms.
Such a beautiful you tube channel Lisa - I always look forward to watching your meal preps - your pantry color - blue/grey? It’s such a beautiful color…looks great with the foods, baskets and your copper pans. You make our grandmothers proud!!
I don't know what it is about watching others clean, organize and cook/bake in their kitchen, but I am obsessed!!!
I don't know how you do it all but you have all my admiration.
Those cutters are too cute!
Lisa, If you ever want to add any more copper to your collection. I watch a youtube channel Sean's World. Really nice guy who lives in France. He has a Etsy store with amazing antique copper items from France. He is the real deal!
Fall is by far my favorite season. I love everything about it. Your cozy Fall themed videos definitely spark joy! 🍂🍁🎃🦃🌻🥰
Beautiful inspiration as usual. Thank you for keeping us homemakers fed with the beauty of our work.

I just realized I missed seeing your daughter and the others make those cookies together. So sweet!
You make the pumpkin roll look so easy. I will have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing. Really enjoying your video's.
Happy to see you supporting Vital Farms!
My 15 month old was crying and I turned on this video while I’m doing laundry and just the sounds of your music soothed her!!!!

No people just think you’re in your 20’s!
Love this one! I bought a basket to make my sourdough bread….. once I get this cast of my hand…broke a bone when I fell walking outside. Can’t wait to get back to baking!
Loved the little handmixer. Brought back memories of my grandmother.
The pumpkin rolls sound delish! These videos are always my favorite.

Such a peaceful and lovely video!!
I love your pantry, that pumpkin roll looks delicious too.
Vital Farms is my go to when my hens slow down their egg laying during the long winter months. What a great quality product that our family trusts.
Another beautiful vlog🤎🍂
I have a huge old pickle jar that I occasionally use and always keep covered in the storage room BUT will be keeping my assortment of cookie cutters in it now - so money and pretty to see. THANKS to you and your podcast person!
Your hair looks beautiful in the scene in the pantry.

Another great video Lisa chili looked amazing. We also enjoy Vital farms eggs when we can’t get them from our Son.
I love the colors of your pantry....all the copper in there :)
Looks like a beautiful fall day at your farmhouse, today where I live in Nova Scotia, Canada was beautiful weather, next week we are expecting to reach 21 degrees , it's been a great fall. Your pumpkin roll looks so beautiful and tasty
How’s life in Nova Scotia?

What a cozy video, love your home and family
Such beautiful and inspiring videos. Love the slow pace and simple beauty of this season.

Places like this are amazing! You’re such a good mommy! Thanks for sharing! It is beautiful to watch 🤍
If you keep a light on in your coop during the winter daytime hours, your hens will keep laying 😀

Lisa, when I grow up I want to be just like you 😊
I make your pumpkin rolls and they are yummy. Only difference is I put chopped walnuts in the cream cheese.
These are my very favorite kind of videos that you make! : ) I love just following you guys along on a simple farmhouse day.... : )

Your pumpkin roll looks fabulous 🤩
Id love to see your chicken set up! I wanna start in the spring but feel overwhelmed and also just want "good enough" to get started.
Everything looks so delectable

I get Vital Farms butter from my local Co-Op, love it!
Great video 🧡 pumpkin roll is one of our favorites!!!
I just bought some Vital eggs this week!
I found them at a Natural Grocers Store that opened in our area this year!
They are very good! I made a mushroom and cheese omelette!
When my dad gave up the poultry business we had a hard time finding eggs and chickens!

You are AMAZING 🥰

Hi Lisa, what brand is your double handled saute pan?
