Ooo your salami sandwiches reminded me of my dad.....he used to make salami sandwiches with crusty bread, cream cheese, mustard, slices of onion and then the salami, cheese, and tomato and lettuce YUM! He passed 2 years ago...thanks for the warm memory. Your pantry is so homey as well as your sweet kitchen. Thanks for the video of real home life.
Your dad sounds like my dad. He would make unusual, but delicious sandwich combinations! Lol! Also my dad and uncle, would have dip competitions, usually they were very good, but now and then completely inedible! Lol!
Tip: I have a lot of glass containers and what I do is a take a sharpie and label them that way. Then when I repurpose the jar I just have to wash the label off. Makes it so much easier to know what's in them.
I never tire of watching you tidy and freshen areas of your home. It inspires me to revisit areas in my home that get tired. The soup look so tempting too. Think I’ll print that off! Thanks, Lisa for sharing your day with us.
Omg your pantry is ADORABLE!! I would love to see camera angles that connect all of your spaces- it’s hard to imagine where everything is at, but I think that so fun!
If you put a damp tea towel on your counter, then put the cutting board on it… this will stop your cutting board from sliding/moving while cutting and chopping. (preventing accidents)
Love your channel & watch all the time. 😍 I love the look of your copper pans & those new scoops are gorgeous but I just learned recently that copper is not food safe & can leach into your food. Just wanted to let you know 😉 I was cracking up at your admission of your cozy winter day being 68° haha we have those days here too. Still love your cozy vibe & your honesty gave me a giggle 😊 Have an awesome day! Can't wait for more content 🤩
Hey Lisa its so nice to come here to see the lovely food you make, the way you look after your family and keep your home. Such a comfort in a world going mad.
I've always made my chicken and rice soup like this, well sorta, I never added bay leaf, rosemary or a rough. Make it tonight like you did and it was so good. I'll never go back to just a basic chicken and rice soup again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
We change out aprons for every season too. Just something fun and practical to keep the seasonal cheer. Besides, she has WAY too many to have them all hanging at once, so it helps to rotate through them.
Yum your bread looks good. I’m a grandma who has always made our bread and remember my grandma made sourdough bread my mom didn’t but I’ve been doing sourdough now for about 10 years and love it. I’ve gotten hints from you. The French toast is an amazing idea for using up that occasional flop I fed mine to the chickens!
Wonderful video Lisa. The rolls and soup looked delicious and the pantry looks so pretty 😊. One thing I absolutely love about your kitchen is the way the sunlight looks coming through the windows☀️🪟. You’re so lucky to have the meat from your sisters farm ☺️👍🏻. Hope your day is a good one 😊.
Happy new year, Lisa. Every time i see one of your videos, you make me always feel comforted and in peace. Your are truely an amazing person. Thanks for sharing your life values.
When experiencing the bitter cold of the North, I love to get Cousy with warm throw, a bowl of soup, and sometimes adding bread. I can then think of being on the beach somewhere. I enjoy watching you create in your farm home.👍🏽
Good Saturday morning Lisa. Your pantry is looking absolutely beautiful. Great organization. Those Quaker Oats look delicious - the best way to start a weekend morning - especially if you add your choice of fruit on top. My favorite is blueberries, because of their antioxidant qualities.
Oh wow the ciabatta bread looks delicious. I loved watching the pantry being cleaned and organized. When I was a young girl I would just about cry if stew or soup was made. I don’t know why, it was delicious but I didn’t want it at all. Once I left home there I was begging my Mom for her soup and stew recipes. Funny how kids are and when I told her as an adult that I felt that way she was so shocked. She was like why didn’t you say something. We didn’t even have it that often. ~ Janet 😘
I had amazing results making Lisa’s sourdough sandwich bread yesterday. My first real sourdough success!!! I’d recommend trying that recipe if you’re new like me to sourdough :)
Love your videos Lisa. Your pantry is just so quaint and the color is beautiful. I admire your passion for cooking. Sitting here with a coffee and watching, hmmmm so calming. I enjoy watching you cook and do other chores
I LOVE your cleaning and organizing vlogs. The pantry looks amazing! 😍 great tip of sautéing the veggies first, before simmering in stock, I am going to start practicing that!! 👍🏻👍🏻
I love your kitchen and pantry, but that copper piece is looking like Revere Ware to me. What a great find! I enjoy watching your very informative videos! Thank you.
I am way more into cookery than bakery, but I do bake those items that accompany savory things, like dumplings, biscuits, hot cross buns, bread, other things that 'go along with.' So, I was a bit inspired by the delicious-looking items you baked today.
The bread and the soup look so comforting. I love your pantry..the color and the way items are displayed. Stay warm and enjoy a cozy winter. God bless.
Lisa I am like you, a summer girl at heart always at odds with winter, even feeling let down at the onset of fall. I've been enjoying your conversations around winter and finding ways to relish it. I'm also in MO so I've enjoyed the warmer days lately 😂
I am following your timeline and feeding my start this morning so I can prepare this today and hopefully bake tomorrow. My favorite recipe so far of yours is the Pumpkin Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls. I frost them once cooled with cream cheese icing and then separate and freeze them so I can take one each day to work for my afternoon break. So good!! Now the ciabatta rolls can be for my sandwiches. Can't wait.
Your soup sounds yummy also all that beautiful bread you make. Being a widow it’s not worth it for me to make bread n I love homemade bread too. I’ve tried to make it but it goes to waste. I can’t eat it up that fast. Yes, I could give some away but it’s not worth the cost for me living on a fixed income. But I do enjoy your videos when your in the kitchen making bread n dinners for your family. Wish I had a pantry like yours. They are so nice to have. In building newer homes today I find they are starting to put them in the kitchen or close by as many women love having them. Always enjoy watching your videos. They inspire me to try to do better for myself plus it makes my day. Thanks Lisa ♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟
My dad lives alone and he does this; he just takes out a slice at a time to defrost. Recommend, if you enjoy the process this might be a way to keep an extra little joy in your life 😊
I just found you and adore what you share from your life!! Thank you! Also, I'm so uneasy watching you cut on your cutting board that moves... so I wanted to share a tip to help your it not move while you're cutting: slip a wet paper towel or a towel underneath it, and voila!
I have had that deodorant for a while now and I don't like it at all. It really doesn't hold a nice scent when it's on you like other deodorants do, nor does it last. It always had to be reapplied on hot days. I went back to my old one for now. I LOVE your channel and content btw. And I am so envious of that beautiful pantry!
Your rolls and sandwiches looked delicious! Ciabatta are one of my favourite rolls, good as burger buns! I too, am doing some arranging in my kitchen, which took me most of my morning. My son is making dinner for us tonight. He got a rice cooker/ steamer for Christmas, which came with a cookbook. He’s making us ramen noodle soup tonight, which is delicious! Soup sounds delicious! Must try recipe out!
I loved this cozy video. Did I miss that you moved your Berkey to the pantry? I’m in a rental kitchen and they did a nice job with the white shaker cabinets and quartz counters but I have a tiny SS sink. I’d give up my dishwasher for a big farm sink and an extra bottom cabinet. Like you, washing dishes doesn’t bother me.
Beautiful video! Love the ciabatta sandwiches. Have you ever tried goat cheese, butternut squash and pesto sandwiches? I bet they would be heaven on the bread. Tried them in a fancy sandwich shop in McKinney, Tx, and they were wonderful.
Love your cozy home and style! I wonder if one of your daughters chores could be keeping the grocery hauls stored away the way you like. So as to free up some of your time as you have so many irons in the fire.

Question kinda unrelated to this video and I tried to find a way to message you but I’m not even sure if you can send messages on UA-cam lol, anyways, so I got one of those baby wrap carrier things, did you ever lay back with baby in it? Like say sitting in a recliner with my baby facing me, he’s kind of laying on his belly sleeping. He’s 18 days today. I was just curious if you only used it standing or sitting up. He has actually been rolling himself on his side to sleep since day 7 at least, he was in NICU for 6 days and while they had him on oxygen he actually slept on his belly with one leg kicked up. They wouldn’t hardly get him to lay on his back. And 9/10 he sleeps on his side or in my arms in the chair. Which would be slightly at an angle- not quite on his back and not all the way on his side. He doesn’t like to sleep in his little bassinet, so I just hold him during the night. I’m just trying to find more comfortable ways for both of us to get sleep, I’m terribly scared I’m going to sleep too hard (from lack of sleep catching up) while holding him and something happen.

Remember to get any antique items (ESPECIALLY ones you are using for food!) Tested for lead! They have those lead testing swabs

Slice n freeze it. Frozen bread is great. Just thaw on counter.
Never put bread & rolls in fridge. It dries them out.
