Very much interesting to listen to this violin. Thank you for your time and effort.
My pleasure! There will be more violin content coming soon! Let me know if there is a specific topic you’d like to know about and I’ll do a video on it.
What if you've over rosin already 🙄
It’s easy to clean off! Just take a micro fiber cloth and some water and it should come right off. There are also special wood cleaning solutions for instruments and you can order those online! I got mine here👇www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/HillPolish--we-hill-and-sons-string-instrument-varnish-cleaner-and-polish

You can wipe the hair off with a clean microfiber cloth and the stick with the varnish polish.

I agree, it’s so easy to keep the rosin dust cleaned off. I don’t understand why fiddlers leave it there. You’ll never see a classical violinist with white dust all over their fiddle. It’s just lazy, I guess.
Be reminded that black rosin is softer than amber rosin.
Your sound post may need adjusting. This determines how much darkness vs brightness you’ll hear. and I dislike steel strings, they might be louder, but tend to be harsh.
And as Itzak Perlman said, practice slowly.
I think Sam Bush gets his whistely tone by bowing closer to the fingerboard , I could be wrong. Maybe it’s finger pressure?
Thanks for your video.
Thanks for the comment! I’ll keep your suggestions in mind! Sam bush gets the whistle tone by playing quickly with little to no bow pressure.
