This really spoke to me today. In a relationship with someone who is "okay" with us deciding to be celibate but is not serious about the reason and is totally fine with sex before marriage. He only agreed because I brought it up among other things. I have decided to fully pursue God but he is a Christian who is not taking God that seriously in my eyes. I have been praying about this relationship and am getting confirmation on things. Thank y'all for this talk. God is really speaking through you guys.
I'm waiting for marriage to have sex. Chasing women is very bad for men who want marriage because it turns their hearts to stone, and then they can't love anyone. I've been looking for my wife, mainly on dating sites, for the past year, and one of my preferences/requirements is that she has to wait until marriage to sleep with me, I always make that very clear, and most girls are ok with that. But I think that's because I'm looking overseas. If I tell that to Western girls they'd probably look at me like I'm crazy! 😂😂😂 So it's nice to know that there are at least a few Western girls who still believe in God's way of marriage.

Baby girl, you are unequally yoked. That's not God's design. This is the confirmation you need. You can't missionary date. Leave that relationship.

I was in this exact situation up until about a month ago. I was so afraid to let go because I struggle with being alone but let me tell you... God has prepared me for the decision I made to honor Him. Chase God, you will not regret it.

People are VERY caught up in their wedding day. Marriage isn’t even a big factor…. a lot of people idolize and are caught up in the fantasy of just having a relationship. People truly have to learn how to be happy by themselves. Some don’t want to do that and feel lonely which is why they’re always seeking a relationship, and when they’re in one, they don’t want to get out of it even when they’re getting treated bad because they don’t want to feel “lonely.” This generation and the older ones have to learn how to love themselves. If you do this FIRST, you will know your worth and you won’t try to rush getting into a relationship or into a marriage. This way you can fully see your partner before you get married while even in the talking stage and have a happy marriage. Of course they’ll need to center it with God for that to happen, but people just really need to learn how to be happy alone. Once this happens (people are truly happy alone and aren’t faking it) everything will be set. Roads won’t be easy, but with God in the center, your happiness/peace won’t be disrupt.
Some people also don’t understand that you need to see every part of your partner before you marry. Every emotion, every bad moment, every good moment… everything before you get married. You don’t want to get married quickly, see them in a certain way that you absolutely hate, and divorce them.. you want to see everything so you’ll know what you’re committing to.

Thank you for this word. Recently on a journey to find Godly friends, but have major social anxiety and hate feeling awkward. I’ve been praying for God to bring friends into my life but yet I am not taking the opportunity to pursue these friendships. Very convicting and what I needed to hear!
Lmaoooo the beginning 😭. But what you guys are saying definitely makes sense because some tend to only think about how to have a Godly relationship ( marriage and dating) which is good by the way; but forget about how to have a Godly relationship with their friends and family members. As a person who is in a season of singleness it’s truly good for you to learn to love the people that are around you. 1 Corinthians 13 applies to everyone wether it’s your spouse or the people in your entourage. And as of marriage yeah it’s definitely God who’s going to teach you how to truly love your spouse because the person you started dating or married is not going to be the same person in 5 years of marriage people change and grow and for you to be able to be patient with them through it all and keep no record of wrong its definitely going to be the Lord that helps you fight your flesh and anger and pride. So you truly have to seek the Lord and not idolize the gift he has given you which in this case is marriage but Idolize him and thank him for it. It’s truly fun always watching you guys 😂 thank you for letting the Lord use you. God bless you all. And definitely a part 2 would be great💙

This was needed and I'm happy that you both created this podcast/channel. You both drop gems individually and together. I have worldly friends but not Godly friends and I became more introverted during the pandemic but I had to work on myself and still work on myself. Also, I have to put myself out there now. My mom is a mentor but I need more outside of my mother.

What are the signs that God approves of your relationship or marriage or that he approves for you to be with someone??
I personally believe God approves any union that doesn’t take you away from him and his commandments . A person that values purity before marriage, prays, doesn’t encourage sin or make excuses. Your partner should strengthen where you lack in God.
