VMPPerformance modify with class and cleanliness,I love how all your builds are clean, this is probably my favorite build so far,not overdone clean fast fun everyday driver.Cars are meant to be driven not covered up in storage.Great build!!!
Michael Regan If you go in the long description it details what was done to this car.750rwh and suspension kit that car will handle track day just fine.
sebastian Not sure what you consider mass production but for 2019 ford only made 1,968 available for purchase.I not sure what kind of resale numbers it will bring in 30 years but I think within 30 years the internal combustion engine will be gone from production.?
I remember working for Ford as a service tech when the first sn95 bullitt was released and I fell in love. Now seeing the latest version with a vmp treatment it rightfully deserves makes it truly great.
I think it looks and sounds great! Love seeing simple roll cages in street cars!👍With a little effort it could always be returned to stock for resale.I think Frank Bullit would be proud of that car.💰
Looks like VMP hit it out of the park! No worries about ruining the collectablity of the car. As long as the owner saves the original parts, it is a non issue. Great job on the car! I would be proud to own that car! ☺️
Awesome work, VMP (and Magnuson). From what we've seen you guys have done an exceptional job with this blower. Keep it up, and we're looking forward to more Odin content!
Hey guys, as usual you've knocked it out of the park. It sounds awesome has great throttle response it's just a great car thAts been made a lot greater. Justin & the boys have done have put the vikingin the stang & it's very impressive. RustyinOz 🤘🇦🇺😎
You just made the Bullitt a lot more fun to drive! Nothing wrong with adding more power. It's also reversible if you want to return it back to stock. Not sure why anyone would want do that though, other than selling it.
I think whatever you put your superchargers on increases in value. They make sick power. Stangmode, Mustang Lifestyle, DBP all have seen very impressive performance progress AWSOME!!!!
Buying a car because you think its going to be a collectors car is a pipe dream. Buy it ,drive it enjoy it . This car has too much power said no one ever.
Definitely not a ruined car after the mods. If anything, it should have come from Ford this way, and they should contact VMP to do the work, you guys kick MAXIMUM you know what when it comes to TVS.
When you used the supercharger did you have to upgrade the fuel system to be able to produce those kinds of horsepower numbers or was the factory fuel system able to handle the Boost thank you
Our kits are set up to work with 93 octane and come with whatever modifications would be needed to run in that configuration. To go much beyond the 700-750 mark and run E85, you will need a return style fuel system, such as our plug and play fuel system or something similar.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! I WANT IT!! I’d trade my 777whp 10GT500 in on it now if I could afford it!! Awesome car you improved 10 fold easy! You made it match it’s name!!!
I have a 2016 GT...I want a 6-9 lbs supercharger that doesn't require any grinding or cutting or milling of any metal. Just a simple" invite your buds over Saturday install" US THERE ANY KIT AVAILABLE THAT FITS THIS BILL???.
Hey Rick! It sounds like our Loki kit would fit that bill pretty well. Our introduction of the Odin/Loki belt drive, otherwise known as FEAD, for this system no longer requires major modifications to the timing cover and the front feed/blow up design of the Odin head unit doesn't require you to clearance in the intake valley for a lower intake. Give us a call, shoot us an email, or even drop us a message on Instagram or Facebook if you'd like to discuss a few details about the kit. We also have an installation video of the Odin/Loki kit here on our UA-cam channel that would give you an idea of the entire process and what's required for the installation.
LOL.. well I guessed it 750hp. figured without the added boostane, insurance?.. Magnusson does make a nice blower though.. good video, that Camaro might of wanted some, but I get it I don't run customers cars either.. it's tempting though I've been there!.. great content now it just needs some E85..
There's a lot of variables that go into the equation. If you'd like to make the jump, we'd be honored to break it all down and show you the options available to get there.
😳...but...but ...where is all that TVS torque?? Also why don't you do a dyno pull without boostane in the tank. Alot of people want a tune that is safe without boostane. The average customer don't run around putting boostane in the tank every fill. Just curious to see the safe pump gas numbers without an octane additive. The dyno numbers are nothing without the data. The boostane could be allowing up to 19* timing. That isn't an uncommon thing. And how much boost?
They use a little Boostane more as a safety measure, because pump gas doesn't always match the octane rating at the pump. Not all gas stations are created equal.
@@chrism.728 Yeah I understand that but as an average customer buying this kit, we don't carry boostane around to add into the tank upon every fill. That just isn't practical. So again, why don't they do a tune that appeals to the average customer? One that they feel is safe for pump gas without needing boostane for every fill? I'm just curious about the results of that.
@@bobbysvt Oh I don't doubt the drivability. I'm not questioning VMP's ability. I think they are a great company and I personally run their return style Fuel system but for this kit I'd like to see real word numbers without the boostane. Again, the boostane could be adding up to 19* timing which is way too much for pump gas. Regular everyday pump gas and tune, no boostane and let's see how it does that's all 🤷
Kyu1LL the late 18+ are reliable it was the early 18’s that had 3-4 shift fork issues the biggest thing with MT-82’s and making power like this for extra insurance and better ease of driving a aftermarket clutch like a Mantic goes a long way some people also haven’t really liked the factory twin disk the 18+’s come with anyways. The GT350’s is better in the way it’s designed but from what I’ve heard its got a torque limit it can handle which is less than a MT-82’s but with a upgraded clutch its easily comparable in the amount of torque it can take. But also a GT350’s transmission was more intended for road course but it’s gearing is apparently better for the coyote than the MT-82.
I guess I’m in the minority. My opinion the Bullitt is not a collectors car. It’s a nice appearance package with a color that should just be able to be ordered in general. The added parts can’t beat stock gen 3 intake/throttle body on a gen 3 engine. My vote is mod to your wallet/tastes see fit. Is that weird dip in the torque band a cam tuning oddity?
The supercharger has a bypass valve that when at idle or part throttle, bypasses the supercharger. If you aren't hammering on it, it drives quite stock and gets great gas mileage. For example, our social media guy's '16 GT averages 20mpg mixed and has done as well as 23mpg. Now, if you're foot down constantly, you can definitely chew through fuel!
@@RadDadisRad this setup made 200 less torque than horsepower, thats not like a TVS blower. Look at the torque to power ratio in this video ua-cam.com/video/KU2-QGKPJ-E/v-deo.html the odin setup makes no torque compared to the older style tvs, the gen3r in the video only made 100 less torque than horsepower!
@Chuck Harter I'm well of all the specs on all generations of the coyote engine, I've owned them all. So your trying to tell me that the more efficient Gen3 coyote that starts life with 460HP/420lb-ft (480HP for the Bullit) should make less torque than an old gen1 coyote that started with 420HP/390lb-ft because of the fueling? The gen3 has direct injection and port injection vs the old gen1 port injection. The DI allows the engine to operate with the higher compression. Both setups were on pump gas and the air fuel ratios were optimized on both so the different fueling you speak of makes zero sense for the setup to produce a way less torque to power ratio. I'm sure the timing curves were a little different in both setups but that still doesn't justify the torque differences. It's clearly the blower design.
@@stevens11bravo Yeah I was wondering the same thing. All the TVS crowd ever rave about is the down low TQ that the TVS makes over the Whipple cars. A Whipple car on 12 psi will make 740+ whp and 566TQ on straight 94 pump gas, no boostane. The Gen 3R actually seems to make much more TQ then then this blower at same boost level....it's very interesting. So basically he mentioned that on straight 93 the blower made 703 whp or something like that which means it probably made low 500TQ which is very odd for a TVS. I made the same TQ at 709whp on my Whipple that this blower did on 750whp.

I’d rather a twin turbo setup on a bullitt to keep the gt350 intake
It is interesting how well this car drives with that much added power. Are the tires oversized from stock?
They are oversized as this car is running aftermarket wheels and tires.
What wheels are those if you don’t mind me asking? And tire and wheel specs if possible. Thanks🤙🏼
