Traveling by river in Thailand is a great way to see the country from a different perspective. It’s almost like turning the clock back a hundred years. We see many things on the way that I’ve visited in a lot more detail. Here are two of the places if you want to see the videos I made from each of them.
Church or Temple? - Wat Niwet Thammaprawat - One of a Kind Temple

Ayutthaya City Fortress and 700 Year Old Temple - Wat Phanon Choeng

Interesting! Wasn't aware of a waterway journey between Bangkok and Ayutthaya.

There used to be a regular boat tour that left from the river city pier but it stopped running due to no tourists. It may resume again soon but I don’t know when.

Years ago (1990's) I did a Ayutthaya tour that featured travel by boat both directions. I can't seem to find anything like that these days.

@@PraneeKormekrang this one was a special boat trip. It only happens once in awhile. There is one that does a bus to Ayutthaya and back to Bangkok by boat. That one starts at river city. I need to do this trip again soon. I will have to search to see what is out there.

@@jeroen5717 very good. I have a whole playlist with just Ayutthaya. I have around 100 videos in it. There might be something new and interesting in it for your next trip. Here is the link if you want to take a look. I really like Ayutthaya. :)

Was a fun trip. I like the smaller rivers and canals more because you see more of the local communities. The Chaopraya is just so massive a lot is missed or too far away to really see. With that it still was nice and I would do it again given a chance.

@@endlessjourneytravels smaller ones sounds nice. We hopefully do it next time in Bkk

@@suehammond1687 this was a special trip put on my the tourism authority. They do it each year around this time but I haven’t seen any announcements for this year. There used to be a bus/boat tour that left from River City. I don’t know if they are doing it still. You could search for it as well.

Hi there. Thanks for vlog. Just wondering how you booked this trip?

    • @endlessjourneytravels

Thanks for watching. I booked the trip through the company. They have line and Facebook. Their line is coxboattour and Facebook is Chao Phraya Express Boat. I’m doing another tour today where we see 5 temples around Bangkok with the same company. They are not regular trips yet but may as tourism increases.

Do you have the address of Bangkok To Ayutthaya By Boat tour. And is it also included the bus tour for 999bht

The Ayutthaya trip was a special one with the TAT. I’m not sure when they will do it again. You can contact them through line here. LINE: @cpxboattour
There used to be a daily tour that went to Ayutthaya by bus and then back on the boat but it hasn’t ran in a while since the borders were closed and no tourists. It left from River City. I hope it resumes again soon because it was very popular.
The boat, bus and snacks were all part of the 999 Baht. They also gave us 300 Baht worth of coupons to be used at Central Ayutthaya for dinner.

@@endlessjourneytravels thank you very much. Since 1988 is thailand my favourite. I know before I did a small boat tour on the river. That time while some thai people were bathing in the water brushing their teeth, you saw dead bodies of from cows not far from them in the river. I live in Paramaribo/Suriname . So I did import the Tuk Tuks 1991, start thai massage, import 2012 also the the Ice cream rolls machine. I am planning a trip to Thailand next year may 2023 with suriname people. Now I am busy making a tour guide through thailand for them. Thanks again Keep on the good work. Djogie

@@djogiebehr5560 very interesting story. If you have any questions or need any help with your trip planning let me know. I would be happy to give some advice or answer any question that you may have. I’ve never been to Suriname but would love to go and see what it’s like there.
