Since you're using Canons try turning on staggered mode , (don't remember the default key for it) to fire them in turn , then u end up with a continous stream of canon rounds going downstream which makes it easier to hit smaller ships as well, since they tend to fly through the 4 shot volleys.
I'll try it next time. Although I think my lack of shooting skills may ruin this style of play lol
This! i did this by accident last night and wondered why i still had two fully loadd deadbolts after 2 vhrts :D, even two of those things can chew through anything
Do this with AD5B and done the HH in less than 10sec, and advantage to ballistic you can put your power on shield and booster only, ballistic don't need power ! Enjoy !
This, have one extra thing to make it even faster, but i have to keep it for me incase we meet in the verse and you're naughty >;)

@@Sentinels-Reprieve WIth all ballistics I can easily do 3-4 ERT's and by then I have to leave anyway because my cargo hold is full. Remember since ballistics go straight to the hull and do more dmg to boot, it takes a lot less of them to kill a ship vs lasers which have to go through shields first. The ballistics also make it much easier to soft-death them since the damage is more gradual vs the high alpha laser canon shots. I can easily soft-death even constellations with it.

Still waiting on a real Anvil competitor to the Connie or Corsair. the 600i might compete in my heart once it has it's redesign. The Star Runner is seriously lacking in firepower tbh, there is no reason to fly a Star Runner when you might as well run with a C2...imo

I love the Corsair, inside and out. But in atmo it flies like a frozen turd in a windstorm. Every time I forget why I don't like it, I just fly down to New Babbage.
Most of the ships of this size do tbh.
Ahh yes , u need to know how to finesse the Corsair in atmo with liberal dabs of boost at the right time and keeping an eye on your Pilot Velocity Indicator (PVI). I've won 2 Corsair vs Corsair duels in atmo because I was more agile than my foe with my Corsair. I could get out of his ballistic stream , but he couldn't get out of mine. and this was after he got the jump on me by attacking me when I was on the ground taking on cargo. hoepfully the mobility issue will be alleviated a bit when control surfaces come in so that the wings can be more than just dead weight in atmo.
Can't recommend Deadbolts enough for the Corsair, Allows power to go to the Shields and engine making it an absolute tank plus more boost = more move if you're like me and can't aim slowly tapping that mouse ata pensioner rate lets you pop most targets in 2-3 shots

Slap some deadbolt 5s on it and that hammer head would be dead in 4-5 shots
Love my Corsair, but I never call a ship "best ship", because it depends a lot on what you want to do in the game. ;)
btw Hammerhead is not what it should be at the moment. Try it again after they revised it. ^^

yea the balancing is horrible in sc right now, ive seen peeps kill a carrack in a fury, cig needs to get armor in game and balance the capital/fighter correctly, right now its a joke.

Balanced? well erm. it has no tractor beam?
It handles like a flying brick, almost any fighter or even "starter/explorer" ships can out maneuver it with relative ease to take advantage of its blind spot. I was flying a suylen around brio's breaker yard and had my group attacked by a Corsair and I had a relatively easy time orbiting around it picking away at its wings and engines.

This is the same for all larger ships though surely? 1 shot is all it takes though lol And if you get 2 other players in the Turrets? Game on!!
@@Sentinels-Reprieve definitely! Having players in turrets or even another Corsair in the fight drastically lowers that light fighters chances. Just a couple seconds in the crosshairs of those main guns will take you out for sure.
