My 150cc go kart has that little box with tube sticking out of it from the first exhaust you were explaining but mine has a whole blown through it and no tube on it. Can I just block off the plate?
If i put a after market exhaust do u think i will lose back pressure. And if i was to put the aftermarket exhaust on it do u think it will make it over heat or do u think it will stay cooler
If you tamper with the exhaust on any bike you will lose performance, especially the popular slip-on mod on sportbikes,,,,, I had one of those 150cc gy6 bikes and put 30,000 miles on it with the original chinese exhaust and when the crank bearing finally gave out I split the case to see what went wrong and the valves, piston, cylider head, timming chain, chain guilds, everything in the engine looked like new except that the crankshaft needle bearing wore out and locked the piston,,,,,,2005 gy6 kymco chinese engine lasted til 2022 with 30,000 miles changing that one qt of oil every 600 miles and getting about 100 miles per gallon of gas, and changing the gear oil every 1,200 miles with 4oz. of 80w gear oil. So alter that exhaust and you'll find your bike to be slower with more low end torque, less top end.🤘I rebuilt that engine completetly for about $500.
you might be right for the gy6 but this is off a 110cc pitbike engine and trust me your more worried about the bottom end they dont have alot of horse power
I have a 110cc I play around on to keep the kid in me happy. Thanks for the tips sir, Gonna go through all that now & she will be better off!!
Right on!

Excellent video. Thanks
You are welcome!
How much would you charge to fabricate one for me.
Or where can I find one online?
Thanks for the video, it’s very informative.
most of the after market exhaust are good and very flowing
Thx👍
No problem
The straight pipe lord!
What he hears!
no straight pipe just patch the header and get a cheap ebay muffler
@@kylescreations4724 Gollum no like muffler!
GOLLUM GOLLUM!😝
Now if u dill out the evaporator emission would it where should I cut the back half of the exhaust off and rebuild it
just use the first 8-10in of pipe off the engine and build your own
Definitely recommend gutting the muffler or straight piping.
I agree but we need a muffler
@@kylescreations4724 This entire video proves why we *DON'T* need a muffler lol
this blows my mind.... There is better exhaust on my chainsaw... Thank you for sharing. :)
all these restrictions are cause of california. what ever comes into there port has to meet there regulations
Does anybody have recommendations on an exhaust for one of those bikes looking just to buy one and got time to mess with it
lots of aftermarket stuff for around 100
The exhaust
yes
If I had a quad i'd just chop off the muffler lol
chopping stuff is fun....
My exhaust did not have that. I now know that I'm terrible at welding.
not all have it but that thin metal is tough to weld dont beat yourself up
