Hope you guys enjoyed the series! Sound off in the comments and let me know if you want to see another build and have us go for an even bigger check! The car will be on ebay for sale in a month or two from video post date if you want to buy it!
I just found your channel and love it bro !!!! Great job on the build and of course the VICTORY . Im building one myself at the moment for short track racing in south bend IN Horent class . 2001 chevy cavalier 2.2 non ecotech
Congrats man, just found your channel and watched this series through. I picked up a little Cavalier not too long ago to do an enduro build and your videos definitely help with figuring out where to start. Looking forward to seeing what you build next!
That was an epic race! Those huge fields are always exciting to watch. Around min 26 it seems like that tire changed at the half threw the tread. Min 42 was a great save, and 44:45 was where it almost ended. The whole race kept my on the edge of my seat, brings back the old days at LG speedway! Congrats #49! Build an early 90's fwd subaru dirt car next!
Nice win! I’m getting excited for my first race car build. Just purchased a 1976 impala that I’ll be running in the super stock class! I’d love to see another build. Awesome job guys 👏
Nice job on the build and the win. Definitely build another car, I'd like the chance to race against you. My car got wrecked in Jefferson this last spring so it's been sitting since then. I don't think I will have it out this year but for sure next year. This is a fun series to race in.
Idk if you'll see this because the video is old, but I've always loved racing and loved watching the 4 cylinder races. Watching this series really inspired me to start my own build. I'm hoping I can do it and the fact that you race in Wisconsin is awesome.
I always try to read every comment. Still have a small enough channel for that, haha. Thanks man! Just get some friends or family together and start wrenching on one. Thats what I did back in 2002. It eventually led me to be paid to race! Life is crazy, just follow your passion and try to have fun along the way.
Please do another build. You should do a 6 cylinder this time if your able to. I race Enduros in Pennsylvania. The track I race is jennerstown speedway you can run 4 or 6 cylinders. I have a 2006 pontiac g6 gt.
nice job guys. i just found this channel and subscribed today. i am an engineering student down in FL and once i am done with school i will be starting a build like this. thanks for all the info and details. i was thinking of using my 04 ford Taurus but its under powered, but its just for fun. congrats on the win!
Thanks man! Good luck on the build. You can always build a slower car for your first one as you will be learning how to do everything on it for the first time. Then once you figure a few things out you can build a newer, faster and better one!
Thats a tough one. You can hit up a couple facebook groups. Front wheel drive racing page usually has a lot of info on upcoming races in different areas. Pretty large community there. Otherwise hit up some local tracks on the weekends and start asking the local guys whats around!
@@thatracinglife yeah we have 2 local dirt tracks around my area I plan on racing at . Just kinda peaked my interest on the bigger money races. Also I see u have a dirt car as well. Mines a 99 caviler 4 door so I'm sure I got a bit ahead of me to make it a tad faster

you should put a hondata cpu in there to tune the motor raise the rev. limiter to 8 or 8,5 and you can mess with the timing and the fuel map but the cpu is still a stock looking cpu just the inside is different
Usually it's the other way around! Lol. Check your rear toe, make sure it's not too far out. Also try slowing down your corner entry a bit and being more gentle with your steering input. Car shouldn't be that loose. If it gets loose get back on the gas!

Thanks for commenting. I have shuffled a lot of things around and have been busy with "life" stuff. Focused more on other things and buying parts for a huge upcoming project for the winter months. Started building 2 brand new circle track cars in the free time. Next year should be racing quite a bit more than usual along with some drifting and a street oriented build. Will be back with that! Thanks again!
I prefer asphalt. Dirt is really hard on these cars. They are not meant for the rough surface. Racing tends to be a little more smashy too. Also just like the rhythm you get on asphalt. Dirt can be fun for sure! Try it and you might like it!
Super great driving man love watching you race. I got a question tho, I just bought a 95 Integra to do oval with and was wondering if adding camber and toe is really needed for racing asphalt oval?
Thanks man! Congrats on getting a car! You will absolutely need some camber in the front right and at least zero toe if you want your tires to last and actually make good grip. I did go over a basic way to get a toe reading in one of the older videos.
Thanks a lot man I appreciate it a lot will definitely look into those ball joints. My series doesn’t allow any suspension work to be done so lowering is sadly not an option
Federals have to be cut or they will chunk up. They have less grip brand new as well. The more worn they get the more grip you will have with them but they have to be cut down about half way or they will get destroyed
