I find installing parts with 100% attention to detail and 100% correctly to be supremely satisfying. It's not fast but you know you will never have to worry about that part again.
This is very much needed! I just bought a new midget chassis and it’s my first. I’m building it from the ground up so I’m pumped to get started but it can also be daunting when not knowing anything. Thank you for this.
I've said it many times now, I LOVE the daily grind videos! My grandpa used to have USAC cars and watching these videos reminds me of the good ol days in his shop.
a nice intresting behind the scenes and human factor what goes into it, and help chase down parts and build prep, with your own 2 hands, hopefully your able to keep the second one 4 wheels on the dirt not up in the air, though it has held up very well though all the bumps and flips a testement to the workmenship to not break apart, sarry dont know what the random letters were I was up all day from third shift work and tired. you know how that is when you get those long racing weekends and something breaks or the show runs late but you got to be there early to try to get a car put back togather or problem solve, happy easter
As a non fabrication guy this was actually really interesting 🙏🏻. One thing I always wonder about sprintcars is , the left front always looks like its got a mind of its own, maybe its just my eyes 😂. Either way, love your work ! Fan from Down under 🤙🏻
Hey T coupla questions? I noticed that the right rear torsion arm was black and the left was silver. Is there something different between the 2? And is the floor pan carbon fiber, and the steering mount as well? Lookin good my friend👍🏁🇺🇸
I’m curious as to why he is welding high frequency on chromoly? Or at least that’s what it sounds like?? Like maybe AC welding on chrome, any reason for it?
Miss the days when teams would paint the frames, chrome plate radius rods, drag link etc. and paint the bodies with real hand lettering, none of that vinyl shit.

It’s a thing of beauty Thomas.

Top quality video. Could watch T-Mez build new cars all day.
Much appreciated
Hell yea🤘🏻🏁 working on race cars is the best therapy money can buy! Especially with nice parts and shiny new titanium!!
💯
Great video. Very informative. I hope to see one of your mf1’s this summer.
Thank you
The brakes, master cylinder plus lines and mounting the seat if new. A lot of fun!! Lol
To bad I was medically retired from racing last year. I'd probably buy an MF1 and run it. I always loved running the different not cookie cutter cars.

Glad you enjoyed it!
I remember back in the 60's watching my dad build midgets. So much has changed.
He had to actually build a race car this is more placing parts bc I’m lucky with nice equipment
Nice! Seeing it come together as a driver and then having some tool take you out makes you want to beat their ass more lol
i used to fab my own mud caps/wings etc,fab was so fun too do.
I’ve always wanted to make a wing to know more about it

I would say, because in the corner, it is light, and the right front is then steering the car, but the rod is connected to the left front
I can Tig. Are they hiring? That has to be a labor of love.
I just packed and sent you guys a box of parts this week from MotorState.
Spike order!? Tally takes care of that for us
@@tmezTv I sent the parts to Engler Machine.
I'm envious of your life style with the exception I'm no race car driver lol awesome
I’m very lucky to have these guys to race with
All these beautiful brand new BLACK anodized aluminum parts and you put a blue anodized Tee fitting in the master cylinder....come on man....lol
Saving money using what we have :))

Gotta have spares incase you get Cannonballed ...
I love sprint cars
BUILD ANOTHER FAST ONE.
🤞🤞
curious as to why frame's not powder-coated before the build

Imagine if can't drive McIntosh tried that stuff at San Jose or badlands back in the day
Bk would kick his ass
Why do the bottom ladder straps have a curve in them?

Nothing like a real hand painted car. Roadsters were the best
R U going to put a new seat in it
I have another seat
Hey i made it again via phone call :D
You going to be running Terre Haute on the 7th?
No I’m in the wing car at Bloomington
why don't you guys paint or powdercoat the frames??
Save weight
@@tmezTv thank you.....I always was curious when I see bare metal like that.
